How does it work?

Based on the XARTU/1 SBC61 electronic card which has been the heart of the products line of the EAGLE
XA/1 series. Optionally, a low-drag index (LDVI) provides the user with an economically mechanic support
for the electronic device. The volume corrector (VC - LDVI) includes an internal pressure transductor and an
RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector), an external display and a 2400 bps modem in the standard produc-
tion line. The VC-LDVI is compatible with all the internal processes which include the calculation of AGA7,
AGA 8 (Detalied and Thick 1 and 2) and AGA 3. Additional funcionalities allow a greater communication
capacity with ports for the reading of different gas analyzers and allow for correction of values in real time.

The VC-LDVI is a fully funcional flow computer able to make calls by exception, alarm or at predetermined
intervals to Scada centrals, control and monitor the state of the valves, communicate with the centrals
through an infinity of simultaneous communication systems such as cenventional Radio, Trunking, CDPD,
Cellemetry, Satellite, Microburst, Telephone, and others, using proprietary protocol or Modbus.

Can manage different communication systems in Hot Stand By in case of principal system failure. Multiple
analogous inputs and output allow it to monitor additional pressures, temperature, presence of gas sensors,
intrusion detection, etc. Even make corrections to two volumes with independent pulses, pressure and tem-
perature. Eagle Research has been serving the needs and requeriments of the Natural Gas Industry during
