On 24 November 2016 at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Padjadjaran would hold an
international workshop "2nd International Seminar on Pharmaceutical Science and Technology" in Bale
Sawala the the Rector College Jatinangor, which was Attended by the speaker was famous of Professor
Roland Bodmeier (Freie Universitat the Berlin), Prof. Yasushi Arano (Chiba University), Prof. Habibah A.
Wahab (School of University of Science Malaysia), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zeeshan Ahmad (Leicester School of
Pharmacy, the De Montfort University of Leicester). The seminar, who delivered a variety of information
related to the results of research on the scope of science and technology the pharmacy. The seminar
was Followed from the field of pharmaceuticals, multidisciplinary science and profession, ranging from
Academics, researchers, students, to practitioners of pharmacals, overall, the which has 223 of
participants.

The seminar is as an opportunity to exchange information related to the development of science and
technology in the field of pharmaceuticals. Pick up the theme "Advances of Materials Design, Process
and Technology for Improving Pharmaceutical Product Quality. One way to improve the quality of
Pharmaceutical means the use of information technology aspects. However, use of technology
information has two sides of the money. On the one hand can improve the quality of service, on the
other hand the Affects on the increasing cost of services. In the challenge, of a health care providers
who want to improve the quality but still maintain the stability of health care costs.

It should be realized in improving the quality of health services is to keep the people to stay healthy.
Health services were not just treat the disease, but how we are able to find and develop health services

Pada 24 November 2016 Fakultas Farmasi Universitas Padjadjaran menggelar seminar

internasional 2nd International Seminar on Pharmaceutical Science and Technology di Bale
Sawala Gedung Rektorat Unpad Kampus Jatinangor, yang dihadiri oleh pembicara terkenal
diantaranya Prof. Roland Bodmeier (Freie Universitat Berlin), Prof Yasushi Arano (Chiba
University), Prof Habibah A. Wahab (School of Universiti Sains Malaysia), Assoc. Prof. Dr
Zeeshan Ahmad (Leicester School of Pharmacy,De Montfort University Leicester). Seminar
yang menyampaikan berbagai informasi terkait hasil riset pada lingkup keilmuan dan teknologi
farmasi . Seminar ini diikutidari bidang farmasi, multidisiplin ilmu dan profesi, mulai dari
akademisi, peneliti, mahasiswa, hingga praktisi farmasi, keseluruhan yang berjumlah 223
peserta.
Seminar ini sebagai ajang tukar informasi terkait perkembangan sains dan teknologi di
bidang farmasi. Mengangkat tema Advances Material Design, Process and Technology for
Improving Pharmaceutical Product Quality. Salah satu cara untuk peningkatan kualitas
Kefarmasian ialah pemanfaatan aspek teknologi informasi. Namun, pemanfaatan teknologi
informasi ini memiliki dua sisi mata uang. Di satu sisi dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan, di
sisi lain berpengaruh pada peningkatan biaya pelayanan.Dalam tantangan seorang tenaga
kesehatan yang ingin meningkatkan kualitas namun tetap menjaga kestabilan biaya pelayanan
kesehatan.
Hal penting yang harus terwujud dalam peningkatan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan ialah
menjaga agar masyarakat tetap sehat. Pelayanan kesehatan bukan sekadar mengobati penyakit,
tetapi bagaimana kita mampu menemukan dan mengembangkan pelayanan kesehatan dengan
tujuan masyarakat tetap terjaga kesehatannya, kata Rektor.
