Authors Main Outcomes

Mousavi et al., 2017 This paper discusses how reliability changes with future land
development Scenario #Reservoir k neechay land development
Cervigni et al., 2015 The publication evaluates the possible economic impacts of climate
change on Africas infrastructure and how the government can plan
climate-resilient infrastructure
Winter et al., 2017 This paper discusses which crop is more sensitive to irrigation
constraints by running irrigated agricultural simulations
Ahouissoussi et al., 2014 This study analyze the potential impacts climate change may have on
the agriculture sector in the South Caucasus region and to develop a
list of prioritized measures those countries can use to adapt to those
impacts
Kiparsky et al., 2014 This publication present an integrated hydrology/water operations
simulation model of the Tuolumne and Merced River Basins,
California, using the WEAP. The results showed that combination of
altered hydrology and increased demands ends up in decreased
reliability of surface water supplied for agricultural purposes.
Karamouz et al., 2013 This paper presents an economic framework of all potential benefits
and costs arising from present activities and implementation of
policies in the central part of Iran. The results show that despite the
shortage of water resources in this area, inter-basin water transfer is
not viable.
Vicua et al., 2011 In this paper, the effect of temperature and precipitation on surface
hydrology, performance of water infrastructure, and irrigation
coverage in the Limar basin is investigated by using the WEAP model.
The research determines the sensitivity of selected variables to climate
change, and obtaining a projection of the effects in irrigation coverage
in near and far future
Woodbury et al., 2012 The primary objective of this study was to analyze the sensitivity of
streamflow to climate change for three watersheds in Colorado and to
develop streamflow sequences that represent the effects of projected
climate change on a baseline streamflow.
Haidera et al., 2011 This paper uses WEAP model to evaluate water needs and scarcity for
three case study areas in Yemen representing different ecological
conditions. The modelled results suggest that current and predicted
patterns of water consumption will soon fully deplete available
supplies, and are a bigger driver of vulnerability than potential climate
change for the region.
Santikayasa et al., 2014 In this research, the sustainability of irrigation water use was assessed
by performance criteria that consider the effects of climate change
and adaption management on irrigation. The results show that
increasing the irrigated area is more amenable to adaption to possible
future climate changes.
Yates and Miller, 2013 This study uses WEAP integrated water management modeling system
with the Long Range Energy Alternatives Planning (LEAP) system. The
aim was to help decision makers understand the extent to which past
choices have determined the nature of current adaptive capacity, and
how those choices may have reduced certain vulnerabilities, while
perhaps increasing others.
