Finding solutions to our regional challenges is not a
cookie cutter approachit takes a clear vision and an
understanding of what resources are needed to
create initiatives, strategies, and services that fill a
major gap or need.
As change agents, we stay informed of whats
happening in the region so that we can forecast
and meet the talent needs of employers, contribute
to existing and new business growth, and expand
investments in and within our region.
The end result? A region that is a great place to live,
work, and play.

Business development
Our team of change agents can guide new and
existing businesses with coaching, business plan
development, on-the-job training opportunities,
resources, classes, market research, capital access, and
financial analysis.
Workforce development
Our region's businesses want to hire workforce talent
with skills, abilities, and experience required to
succeed. We help fulfill talent needs through many
programs such as Jobs for Michigans Graduates in
area high schools, YouthBuild earn-and-learn, adult
education and Bridge Academy youth GED
completion. We provide additional guidance through
job preparation, summer work experiences, skill
training, career coaching and development through
Michigan Works! service centers.
Community development
