(b) Evaluate the voltage Vo and current ID for the following assumption about the
diode:
i. The diode is ideal.
ii. The diode cut-in voltage V = 0.7 V and on-resistance rD = 10 .
iii. The diode reserve saturation current Is = 9.5 1015 A, ideality factor n = 1
and for room temperature, the thermal voltage may be taken to be VT = 26
mV.
