Please read before Installation:

1.DO NOT USE BRI MODULE as BRI drivers are not available in our customized RPM package.
2.E1/T1 mode can only be configured in slot1 and even though you can physically install an E1/T1
module into slot2 (on P2), because such configuration on slot2 is not supported and will lead to
loading failure of driver.
3.The driver in RPM is only for use with kernel version 2.6.32. Please DO NOT upgrade the kernel
or install this RPM if kernel version is not 2.6.32.
4.Should you need to replace a module then please be aware that they are not hot swappable
and you must first power off the server before removing a module. Then insert the replacement
module and finally turn the server back on.
5. When you enter into the FreePBX GUI, please change the module settings to reflect the
modules that you have actually installed into the unit. (Note: To ensure the settings take effective,
please reboot after changing the settings.)

1.1 Installation Environment
FreePBX Distro Version: Stable-5.211.65
Kernel Version: 2.6.32(Note: Kernel version must be V.2.6.32 because the RPM
package is based on V2.6.32 and the kernel version is detected automatically
during installation. If the detected version is not V2.6.32 then installation will be
exited automatically)
1.2 Installing:
The installation Command is:
rpm -ivh freepbx-5.211.shmz6.i386.rpm --force --nodeps
1.3 Installation Process
Verify kernel version and make sure its V2.6.32
Install RPM package
Reboot server

2.Module Configuration:

2.1 Login GUI:


Enter the default server IP which is 192.168.1.100 into your web browser and you will be
directed to the FreePBX GUI. Next click the top-right menu: SettingsAdvanced
SettingsZYCOO Hardware Modules Settingsto configure the modules as detailed
below:

2.2 Settings of SLOT 1

Click the dropdown box of Module Type in SLOT 1, you will see options (NONE
FXS/FXO/GSME1/T1)
as shown in the diagram below:

If E1/T1 module is inserted into SLOT 1 then please select E1/T1 mode as follows:

Notice: If you are using P0, please select NONE in SLOT1 and SLOT2 as P0 doesnt have any
slot.

2.3 Enabling Echo Cancellation:

If the hardware echo cancellation module is inserted then please check the box next to
Hardware Echo Cancellation(See above red arrow). This allows the hardware echo
cancellation driver to be loaded.

Should an analog module be inserted into SLOT 1 then please select FXS/FXO/GSM as
detailed below:

Please select based on your server location.

2.6 Reboot:

Please tick Reboot after completion to ensure the settings take effect.

2.7 Save Settings:

Click Saveto save above settings.
