OBJECTIVE At the end of the class, students should be able to:


1. Describe and sketch the locus of a moving object.
2. Determine the locus of points that are of
o constant distance from a fixed point
o equidistant from two fixed points
o constant distance from a straight line
o equidistant from two intersecting lines
3. Construct the locus of a set of all points that satisfies the condition:
o the point is at a constant distance from a fixed point
o the point is at equidistant from two fixed points
o the point is at a constant distance from a straight line
4. The point is at equidistant from two intersecting lines.
