Abstract

Model United Nations Foon Yew High School was originated on January 1st, 2017 as a entire
new novelty and innovative club in the history of the club Foon Yew High School having as it is a
global club which is necessary to cultivate students critical thinking mind while facing the world
complicated affairs or issues. In Taiwan, club Model United Nations is nation wide that not only
the undergraduates enter but also the youngsters. If we point at the developed countries, they have
a common ground which is that the club Model United Nations is being generally but not
particularly. Nowadays, club Model United Nations is imperfective and scanty in Malaysia
because we dont acknowledge clearly how the club Model United Nations is valued nay further.

Acting as a new-age club to learn what ways and the processes the United Nations does to
cover and make our shortage up.

Interflowing with foreigners to increase communicative ability.

Discussing and to solve the issues the world having to cultivate critical thinking and to share
with our members which is great help to the students.

Model United Nations is not an arena or competition but a solemn meeting related to the
international issues or affairs. It does not matter whether or not having meritority or win and loss
but how ponderable and valued the knowledge we learn is. As a earth, we cant naysay to confront
the issues or the problems the wolrd having but have to ponder objectively.

Singapore Model United Nations?

Singapore Model United Nations has distinguished itself from other MUN conferences in
Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region with its organizational excellence and academic prestige. In
March 2011, members of the 2009 and 2010 SMUN Secretariats successfully co-hosted the 20th
World Model United Nations (World MUN) alongside Harvard University. As further testament to
Singapore Model United Nations academic stature, a delegation from NUS including SMUN
2016 Secretariat members won the Outstanding Delegation Award at Citi-Pan Asia Model
United Nations 2015 in Taipei, while five SMUN 2016 Committee Chairpersons and Secretariat
members have been selected by World MUN 2016 to chair at their conference in Rome.
