Description
1121 Input for Pressure-1 for properties, 10.197 kgf/cm2 is beyond the expected range, from 1.883
kgf/cm2 to 4.2 kgf/cm2
1860 The consolidated process conditions for Stream 1, prior to the main calculations, give a heat
load of -176779 kcal/h, for a flow of 700 kg/h, with outlet temperature 45 C and quality (vapor
mass fraction) 0.1000361.
1860 The consolidated process conditions for Stream 2, prior to the main calculations, give a heat
load of 176779 kcal/h, for a flow of 44172 kg/h, with outlet temperature 36 C and quality (vapor
mass fraction) 0.
1258 A nominal baffle cut of 30.2141 percent has given local cuts of 31.95781 and 31.95781
percent, to match the tube line locations. The effective (mean) cut used in the calculations is
31.95781 percent. [for double segmental baffles, this refers to the outer cuts]
1446 The Advanced calculation has converged after 43 iterations
1925 The outlet temperature of stream 1 has changed from the initially specified value 45 C, to
45.35 C. These temperatures relate respectively to the estimated outlet pressure 1.15 kgf/cm2,
and the calculated outlet pressure 1.195 kgf/cm2. Design and Checking calculations are based
on fixed heat load: temperatures can change when pressures change. If you want to avoid this
change in temperature, set the estimated outlet pressure to 1.195 kgf/cm2 and repeat the
calculation.
