equipment business including; Sales, Production, Engineering, and Material Control.
The business consisted of approximately thirty five million dollars in annual sales of high end capital
equipment systems with the US Army helicopter repair, US Air Force aircraft repair, the US Navy
aircraft and Aircraft Carrier services as well as US Marine Corp maintenance depots around the world.
Tasked with overseeing government contracts, from Project Scope, Statement of Work, and
Deliverables. Responsible for physical construction and implementation of all system projects
throughout the country.
GENERAL Management & Engineering,
Siemens Energy & Automation (Controlotron Corp), Hauppauge, NY 2003 2008
Management of all aspects of the Ultrasonic instruments, for Pipe Line products with a total of fifty
million dollars in annual sales. This included electronic manufacturing, product design, assembly, metal
fabrication and machining. Secured a new facility, and directed the facility layout and equipment
installation. Business was sold and this location was Closed.
Established work flow process for production product line. Functional responsibilities included all
general management operational tasks; sales, engineering and design, material control, supply chain
management, inventory, purchasing, manufacturing, and human resources. Responsibilities also
included full P&L for this product line.
Managed large scale Ultrasonic measurement systems projects, sales and project management.
Developed an Inside Sales support program, creating annual sales increases of $200,000 monthly.
Implemented ISO9001- 2000 within the design engineering department.
Decreased operating expenses by $700 thousand annually through lean manufacturing concepts.
Instituted product outsourcing to reduce capital investments lowering overhead costs $50,000/ month.
Managed projects such as Boston Logan Airport aircraft fueling system, which included flow
measurement equipment and construction requirements to adapt to our ultrasonic equipment.

Managed inside sales, customer service, inventory, distribution and manufacturing of the
pharmaceutical and laboratory instruments capital equipment business unit.
Implemented a DSO (days sales outstanding) improvement program reducing accounts receivable.
Responsible for management of a $60 Million annual operating budget.
Directed Data Works ERP implementation while setting up data mapping for SAP implementation.

INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING Minor: Created and presented for approval to the CEAS, Curriculum & Teaching
Policy Committee (CTPC) committee a new curriculum (minor) in Industrial Engineering to be offered by the

edits.
