Situation A

Help! Im 16, and I really want to go on a hiking trip with my friends. The problem is that my parents think its
too dangerous, and they dont want me to go. My friends insist that I go, and Im thinking of going without
permission. What should I do?

Situation B

Hi everyone!
My best friend is 40 years old, and he has always had trouble losing weight. The thing is that he has gained
considerable weight recently and is considering a by-pass procedure. I am worried about his health since Ive
heard its a very risky operation. He trusts me, and needs my advice, but I am not sure what to tell him because
he is very positive about finally losing weight.

My advice is that would be better that you did not go to this expedition since your
parents think that is the best for you and you should tell your friends to understand
why you would not
