Calibration and Analysis Key Words Introduction

Results Meter Setup Dissolved Oxygen benchtop


Five samples of wastewater from a wastewater treatment facility were measured for DO. The table below For initial meter setup, follow the steps on the Quick Reference Guide that is attached to the meter itself. The

Wastewater samples 1. Connect the electrode to the meter.
2. Press the POWER key on the meter to turn the meter on.

3. Note that the arrow on the left of the screen indicates the active line. If the bottom line is not active,

5. Refer to the Orion 086030MD AUTO-STIR DO/BOD Probe instruction manual for the maintenance
procedure. If all steps were followed correctly the meter display will show three digits in the top line and ISE: mg/L to
the right of the top line. The meter and electrode are now ready for calibration.
