MOST BUSINESS-FRIENDLY LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT AWARD
The Most Business-Friendly Local Government Unit Award is PCCIs initiative to recognize and promote models of
governance of municipalities, cities, and provinces that have demonstrated outstanding efforts in instituting good
governance reforms to promote trade and investment; ensure accountability, transparency and efficiency; and
further competitiveness of the LGUs. It also complements the efforts of the government to streamline procedures in
compliance with the Anti-Red Tape Act or RA 9485.
The LGU Award adopts the slogan Whats Good for the Citizenry is Good for Business. This represents a framework for
achieving continuous improvement of LGU services to their areas, benefiting both the business community and citizenry.

Seeks to promote appreciation and application of intellectual property among local enterprises and potential
entrepreneurs, the A.M.Y IP Awards is conferred to Filipino-owned intellectual property rights (IPR) owners
of patents, utility models, industrial designs (and trademarks) that have the most substantial positive impact
on the lives of people in the community and/or contributed or have the potential to contribute to economic
advancement and development. It recognizes inventors, entrepreneurs, and students who contribute to the
development of innovative and creative new products and services that make doing business more efficient
and cost- effective.
