Classroom Rules and Expectations


Be on time!
Be prepared. Bring all of your materials to class including the school-wide
planner, teacher approved AR book and reading log.
Be seated directly after entering the classroom and review the daily agenda.
Be polite. Raise your hand to ask questions and/or participate in class.
Be respectful to the teacher and your classmates.
Absolutely NO CELL PHONES!!!
No Late Work Policy
Students are expected to turn in class assignments, homework and projects on
time. No late work will be accepted. If you are absent, you will be given the
opportunity to complete the missed work (see student handbook regarding make-
up work). Please inform the teacher of planned absences in advance.

Absences and Tardies


Teacher will follow the school-wide policy for absences and tardies. Upon returning
to class, students are responsible for obtaining any missed work due to absences
and are expected to turn the work in according to the appropriate due date.

Tests - Students will have unit tests.
Quizzes
Daily work Students will complete daily work in class and may be asked to
submit the work for a grade.
