Dear Mr. Gustafsson:

We are writing to demand that Escobar Inc. (Escobar) not use, and expressly
abandon its trademark applications to register, the trademarks NARCOS (Serial Nos.
87/145,332, 87/145,336, 87/145,340, 87/145,343, 87/145,348, 87/145,350, 87/145,352,
87/145,354, 87/145,355, 87/145,361, 87/145,362) in Classes 3, 9, 14, 16, 18, 21, 24, 25,
26, 28, and 41 and CARTEL WARS (Serial Nos. 87/145,365, 87/145,366) in Classes 9
and 41 (the Applications) filed with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (PTO), and
agree not use or seek to register any trademark confusingly similar thereto.

We are counsel for Narcos Productions, LLC (NPL), the entity responsible for
producing and distributing the highly successful and critically acclaimed Narcos
television series centered around the individuals involved in the life and subsequent
capture of the notorious drug-trafficker Pablo Escobar (the Narcos Television Series),
and which has spawned the popular game Narcos: Cartel Wars (the Narcos Game).
The Narcos Television Series is one of the most successful series currently streaming
online. NPL is the owner of common law trademarks and copyrights related to and
derived from the Narcos Television Series, including the trademark NARCOS and
CARTEL WARS as well as the special stylized font associated with those trademarks.
Copies of NPLs promotional materials displaying NPLs trademarks relating to the
Narcos Television Series (the Narcos Marks) are attached hereto as Exhibit A. NPLs
Narcos Marks are shown below:

We have learned that, without NPLs knowledge or consent, on August 20, 2016,
Escobar filed use-based applications to register the marks NARCOS and CARTEL WARS
with the PTO covering a range of goods and services (the Infringing Goods & Services).
Copies of PTO web pages for the NARCOS and CARTEL WARS trademark applications
are enclosed herewith for Escobars reference as Exhibit B. As you are likely aware,
NPL has obtained extensions of time to oppose the Escobars marks that have been
published for opposition and will oppose those and the remaining applications pending
a resolution to this matter.

As an initial matter, Escobar does not own the Narcos Marks; NPL does.
Therefore, the Applications are void from inception and NPL will oppose the
Applications on that basis.

In addition, we note that nearly all of Escobars claimed dates of first use appear
to be fraudulent. For example, Escobar claims that it has used NARCOS in connection
with things like operating a web site and game services provided on-line from a
computer network since January 31, 1986. See Exhibit B. However, the Internet had
not been developed for widespread consumer use in 1986, nor was the capability to
provide audiovisual works nor game services available at that time. Moreover, Escobars
specimen of use for the NARCOS application in Class 41 (Serial No. 87/145,362) appears
to be either from NPLs advertising or, at the very least, an infringing artwork that
infringes NPLs copyrights in the Narcos Game. See Exhibit C which is a true and
correct copy of the specimen of use filed with Escobars Class 41 Application.
Furthermore, NPL cannot locate any evidence of Escobars use for either NARCOS or
CARTEL WARS for any of the goods and services claimed whatsoever for any year.
This is unsurprising since Escobar was not created until April 20, 2015, and we could
not find evidence of use of NARCOS and CARTEL WARS by any predecessor of Escobar.
See Exhibit D which is a true and correct copy of Escobars certificate of incorporation.
Thus, NPL will also seek to oppose Escobars Applications based on a claim of fraud on
the PTO.

Further, the continued (or actual) use of the Narcos Marks constitutes trademark
infringement, unfair competition, and false designation of origin, and will dilute the
distinctive value of NPLs Narcos Marks. Given the above facts and the widespread
popularity of the Narcos Television Series, Escobar is clearly using and seeking to
register the NARCOS and CARTEL WARS marks to intentionally draw an association
with the Narcos Television Series. Consumers will erroneously believe that NPL has
approved Escobars use and registration of NARCOS and CARTEL WARS or that
Escobar is somehow affiliated or connected with NPL or its business, when, in fact, NPL
has not sponsored, licensed, or approved Escobars activities in any respect. Finally, the
use of NARCOS and CARTEL WARS by Escobar will erode the single association of the
Narcos Marks with NPL. NPL will therefore oppose the Applications on the grounds of
likelihood of confusion and dilution with the Narcos Marks.

The remedies available to NPL for Escobars use of a the Narcos Marks include,
but are not limited to, NPLs actual damages, statutory damages, Escobars profits
attributable to the unauthorized use of the NARCOS and CARTEL WARS marks,
attorneys fees1, a bar to registration of the NARCOS and CARTEL WARS trademarks,
and a nationwide injunction against Escobars further use of the NARCOS and CARTEL
WARS marks or any other mark confusingly similar to the Narcos Marks. The above is
not intended to be a complete listing of NPLs rights and remedies, and NPL reserves the
right to assert other claims not stated herein, if necessary.
Notwithstanding these available remedies, NPL would like to resolve this matter
amicably. Therefore in order to resolve this matter, we request that Escobar agree in
writing to immediately:

(1) expressly abandon the Applications;

(2) permanently stop all use of the NARCOS and CARTEL WARS marks in
any format or any other marks, logos, designs, or the like confusingly similar thereto;

(3) agree to not use the marks NARCOS or NARCOS: CARTEL WARS, any
other mark containing NARCOS or CARTEL WARS, or any mark, name, logo, or the like
that is confusingly similar to NPLs Narcos Marks for any products or services; and

(4) provide us with an accounting of any and all revenue earned from the
Infringing Goods & Services. The accounting must include: (a) the total gross revenue
from or sales of any products or services offered under the NARCOS and CARTEL
WARS; (b) the number of units of products, if any, bearing such marks produced to
date; (c) the number of units of any such products sold to date; (d) the number of units
remaining in inventory; and (e) the profits from the Infringing Goods & Services.

We have enclosed Express Abandonments (Express Abandonments) of the

Applications for Escobars convenience as Exhibit E. Escobar may indicate its consent
to these terms by signing the original of this letter and the Express Abandonments and
returning all signed documents to us not later than August 10, 2017. We will file the
Express Abandonments with the PTO.

If we do not receive a signed copy of this letter and the Express Abandonments by
the stated deadline, we will advise NPL to seek all remedies available to it concerning
Escobars Applications to register, and use of, of the Narcos Marks, including filing a
