TEACHING EXPERIENCES
2015 - Freeburg High School Marching Band
o Duties include Brass and Visual Technician. I instructed the marching band through warm-ups,
brass through sections, and aided them on the field during rehearsals. I also created and
taught a dance visual to the marching band.

2005-2012 - Collinsville Middle School

o Duties include assisting the band director, leading sectionals/rehearsals, and directing the
ensemble in concerts. I instructed brass during sectionals and conducted the whole band in
rehearsals.

2014-2016 - Peer Teaching in Methods Courses - EIU

o Duties include leading the class in warm-ups and exercises. I explained and encouraged
healthy musical skills for the students to learn.

2015-2016 - Principal Tuba -EIU

o Duties include guiding sections, critiquing members of the section, and organizing sectional
dates & rehearsal points.

2012 - First Baptiste Church Maryville summer camp

o Duties include leading youth in prayer and biblical activities. I lead groups of youth to different
areas. I also devoted time to set up areas for later use during the camp.
