Technical Data Sheet

DGI WellArchitect
WellArchitect is an advanced well planning and survey management
system for planning and drilling of directional wellpaths integrated with
earth models.
DGI WellArchitect
Includes trajectory calculation, reporting, plotting and 3d
visualization
Designed to handle a range of applications from single wellpath
survey calculation through to multi-wellsite, multi-well planning,
collision risk analysis and data management
Accommodates sidetracking, multi-lateral wellpaths and re-entry
drilling
Used at both the office and wellsite.

Visualisation
3-D viewer can combine offsets, targets, positional uncertainty
ellipsoids and earth model to enhance spatial understanding
3-D cursor can transfer co-ordinates from viewer to well design

Trajectory planning
Spreadsheet can build complex wellpaths from simple building
blocks
Can include survey program and/or hole and casing program
Save-as function facilitates retaining revision history
Integrated target management with automatic target erosion

Survey trajectories
Select data from survey logs, recording all survey measurements
Close integration of projecting sensor depth measurements to bit

Wellpath Positional Uncertainty

ISCWSA model (SPE67616 & SPE90408) covering magnetic and
gyro tools
Standard performance models for all INTEQs measurement tools,
applications and corrections

Anti-Collision Rules
Systematic approach & application
Ellipse separations are calculated using the pedal curve method

Reporting & Graphic Editor

Wellpath, clearance calculation and data management / transfer
reports
Delivered to a browser, Microsoft Excel or a text editor. Pdf & MS
word compatible
Positional uncertainty and ACR shapes can be included on maps,
cross-sections and traveling cylinder plots
Integration of earth model with cross-section and map views

System
The software is Windows PC based
Sophisticated access controls and permissions restricting access to
specified user groups promoting data security
Databases can be shared between user groups
Data transferable from office to wellsite and vice versa
