2.4 Tools Specifications

The foreseen tools required to construct the vehicle are a measuring tape, metre
rule, hot glue gun, scissors, hand saw, penknife, and pencils.

The metre rule and measuring tape are used as tools of measurement to obtain the
right length and measurements of the materials. The hot glue gun can be used to attach the
pieces of materials together. Furthermore, the penknife, hand saw and scissors can be used
to cut the materials into smaller pieces. Lastly, the pencils are used to mark the locations or
lengths on the materials leaving a temporary mark.

2.5 Construction Method

1. Starting with the cut to size plywood. secure the axles to the underside of the
plywood.
2. Secure the 2 wooden dowels to the plywood using a hot glue gun.
3. Secure the 600mL water bottle to the plywood using a hot glue gun.
4. To build the egg unit Take the two 500mL recycled water bottles and cut them in half.
Cut them 60mm from the base of the bottle. Insert the egg and stuff the cotton wool
completely around the egg to protect it. Get the other bottle half and manipulate it to
fit into the cut end of the other bottle half. This will create a sealed container to
protect the egg.
5. Secure the egg unit that is padded with cotton wool and encapsulated with the two
bottle half to the 600mL bottle and two dowel rods with a hot glue gun and rubber
bands
6. Put the large rubber bands over the whole vehicle along the 600mL water bottle and
Egg Unit.
7. Secure the wheels to the axle.
8. Test with safety precautions to prevent damage to the vehicle.
9. Make repairs or improvements as necessary.

7
3.0 Tender Evaluation Criteria

8
3.1 Introduction

The Tender Evaluation Criteria (TEC) are specific requirements and criteria that will
be used to evaluate the future partnering companies that we at Mach Z Sdn. Bhd. will be

assessed based on these criteria which are experience, responsiveness in communication,
progress updates, professionalism and feedback. Marks will be given accordingly to the
companies based on their abilities that fulfill the criterias. The company which is able to
accumulate the highest marks will be the preferred company that our company will
cooperate and partner with in this project.

The risk management plan below is planned and organised to identify the errors and
hazards that may occur throughout the entire project stages, These hazards are then
categorised based on the outcome which can be obtained from the risk management index
below,
