My Favourite Animal

My favourite animals are elephants.

Elephants are grey and very big. They
live in Africa and Asia. Theyve got
four legs and two big ears. They eat
leaves and plants. They like fruit and
water too. They dont eat meat. They
walk but they can run fast. They
can swim too but they cant climb
trees. They sleep at night. Elephants
live for about seventy years. I like
elephants because theyre beautiful
and clever.

 John Lennon was born on 9th October 1940 in
Liverpool, England. When he was four years old,
he went to live with his Aunt Mimi. John did
not see a lot of his father when he was small.
His mother died when he was eighteen. John
liked art and he went to art school. John be-
came friends with Paul McCartney and George
Harrison at school and they started the Beat-
les. They wrote a lot of songs and they were
very famous. Johns first wife was Cynthia
Powell and they had a son, Julian. His second
wife was Yoko Ono and they had a son, Sean.
John Lennon died in 1980. He was only forty.
