3. Time Management
There is no section wise time limit of the test, hence you have to be careful about the time
management factor. Divide the time wisely between the two sections while solving mocks.
Allot time to each section and save the last 15 minutes for revision. Follow the same through
the last week and on the test day.
4. Make a plan:
The right thing to follow in the last few days is to stick to the plan. If not, make a study schedule
and stick to it. You must follow your plan in order to cover the entire syllabus and revise the
same in a relaxed and planned manner.
6. Revise:
Revision matters most at the last few days before the test. By now it is expected that you have
completed the syllabus.

difficulty level also increased with each passing year. Though General Awareness formed a
part of the test in the first year, the section was discontinued in the next years.
Now let us have a look at the section wise analysis of IPMAT over the years.
Quantitative Ability
The difficulty level of this section ranges from moderate. Unlike the previous year, there are

Usage. There are 2 Reading Comprehension passages of moderate to tough difficulty level.

topics include Grammar, Fill in the blanks, Word usage and Vocabulary.
Revise your strengths from the syllabus and do not start any new area.

careful about the time management factor. Divide the time wisely between the two sections.

work done at the scratch sheet provided at the test center.
On the exam day, ensure that you reach the exam centre within the stipulated time and
carry the requisite documents like Admit Card and ID proof. Since the test is conducted in
computer based mode you are not allowed to carry your personal stationery materials. The
