But in Your lovingkindness
That Man is Blessed
1. That man is blessed who does not walk
As wicked men advise,
Nor stand where sinners meet, nor sit
Where scorners pose as wise.
Instead he is the one who makes
The LORDs law his delight,
And in that law he meditates
By day and in the night.
2. Hes like a deeply planted tree
Beside a water stream,
Which in its season bears its fruit,
Whose leaves stay fresh and green.
In all he does he will succeed.
The wicked are not so,
But they are like the scattered chaff
Swept by the winds that blow.
3. The wicked therefore will not stand
When time of judgment comes,
Nor will the sinners stand among
Assembled righteous ones.
Because the LORD the righteous loves;
The path they walk He knows.
The wicked walk a different path,
That to destruction goes.
Psalm 13B
O How Long, LORD
1. O how long, LORD, forget me?
Will it be forever, evermore?
O how long will You hide Your own face from
me?
How long must I strive with my soul,
Sorrow all day long in my heart?
O how long will foes triumph over me?
2. O LORD, look down upon me;
Heed and give me answer, O my God.
O give light to my eyes, or Ill sleep in death,
And my enemies will say, See!
I have overcome, laid him low!
And my foes will be happy when I fall.

I have placed my confidence and trust;
My heart sings and my soul in salvation joys.
I will freely sing to the LORD,
Who has shown such goodness to me;
He has dealt so in bounty with my soul!

The LORDs My Shepherd
1. The LORDs my Shepherd, leading me;
I will not be in need.
Hell make me lie in pastures green;
By quiet waters lead.
2. And He restores my soul again;
He guides the steps I take
To walk along a righteous path,
All for His own names sake.
3. Though in a valley dark as death,
No evil will I fear;
Your rod and staff, they comfort me,
For You are always near.
4. A feast You have prepared for me
In sight of all my foes;
And You anoint my head with oil,
My full cup overflows.
5. What love and goodness all my life
Will follow after me;
And in the LORDs house evermore
My dwelling place will be.
Psalm 28A
LORD, I Call on You
1. LORD, I call on You to help me;
O my Rock, do not be deaf;
If Youre silent, unresponding,
Ill sink in the pit of death.
When I voice my supplication,
And I cry for help, O hear,
When I toward Your holy temple
Lift my hands to You in prayer.
2. Drag me not away with sinners,
Those who work iniquity;
Peacefully they speak to neighbors,
As theyre plotting treachery.
Recompense, repay them justly
For the evil of their hands.
They the LORDs works disregarded!
He destroys them; theyll not stand.
3. Blessed be the LORD who heard me,
For the LORDs my strength and shield.
I am helped when my heart trusts Him;
Gladly singing, thanks I yield.
For the LORDs their strength, their power,
For His king a shield is He.
Save Your heritage and bless them;
Shepherd them eternally.
Psalm 40B
I Hid Not in My Heart
5. I hid not in my heart
Your truth and saving help;
In the assembly great
I preached Your faithfulness.
Youll not withhold from me
Your tender mercies, Lord;
And Your unfailing love
Will ever keep me safe.
6. Evils too great to count
Have taken hold of me.
My sins close in on me
So that I cannot see.
They are more numerous
Than hairs upon my head.
My heart now fails in me;
My courage melts away.
7. Come to my rescue, Lord;
O Lord, make haste to help.

Be shamed and be confused.

Who want to see my hurt.

Who taunt and jeer at me.

Gladly rejoice in You,
Who Your salvation love
Say, Glory to the Lord!
May the Lord think of me;
I suffer pain and want.
My Help, my Savior, come!
My God, do not delay!
Psalm 59B
I Wait for You
6. I wait for You, because You are my strength,
A mighty fort, a stronghold is my God.
My loving God, my God, will meet with me,
And let me look in triumph on my foes.
Spare them, O Lord, our Shield, lest we forget;
But in Your might disperse and bring them
down.
7. Let sinful deeds and lies catch up with them,
Because of lies and curses that they speak.
In wrath consume that they may be no more;
Let all earth know that God in Jacob rules.
At night like dogs my enemies return;
They prowl for food and growl unsatisfied.
8. But as for me, Ill sing about Your strength,
Each day with joy, sing of Your steadfast love;
For You have been my fortress, my defense,
My refuge when the times of trouble come.

O God, Show Mercy to Us

And bless us with Your grace;
And cause to shine upon us
The brightness of Your face;
So that the whole world over
May truly know Your way,

All nations see displayed.

Let God Arise
1. Let God arise, His enemies be scattered;
And from His presence let His foes take flight.
Drive them like smoke,
Like melted wax;
So let the wicked perish from His sight.
2. But let the just be joyful in Gods presence;
With gladness let the righteous ones rejoice!
Sing unto God,
And praise His name;
To Him who rides through deserts lift your
voice.
3. His name is LORD! Be joyful in His presence.
He is a Father to the fatherless,
A judge who helps,
The widows cause;
God is within His house of holiness.
4. God makes a home, a famly for the lonely;
He leads out prisners to prosperity.
But in dry lands
Of wilderness,
There the rebellious ones are left to be.

Let The Nations Tremble
1. Let the nations tremble,
For the LORD is reigning
From His throne above the angels.
Let the earth be shaken!
High above all nations
Is the LORD, great King in Zion.
Let them all praise Your name,
Awesome and majestic;
For He is most holy.
2. King of might and power,
He whose strength loves justice.
Equity You have established.
In the midst of Jacob You have executed
Perfect righteousness and justice.

Worship at His footstool,
For He is most holy.
3. Moses was with Aaron
Numbered in His priesthood,
So too, Samuel invoked Him.
They called on the LORDs name;
He gave them His answer,
Speaking from the cloudy pillar.
They obeyed, giving heed
To the word He gave them,
And His testimonies.
4. LORD, our God, You answered;
You, O God, forgave them,
Though You chastened them for evil.
Highest exaltation
Unto Him be given,
For the LORD our God is holy.
Bowing down to the LORD,
Give our God your worship
At His holy mountain.

In All the Land Rejoice
1. In all the land rejoice
And to the LORD cry out.
In worship gladly serve the LORD,
For joy before Him shout.
2. Know that the LORD is God.
He made us, we are His,
His people and the chosen flock
Set where His pasture is.

3. With thanks come through His gates,
Praise in His courts proclaim;
Declare the glory He deserves,
Give blessings to His name.
4. Because the LORD is good,

Let This Be Written
10. Let this be written for the sake Of those alive
in future days,
So people He has
yet to make Will to the LORD lift up their
praise.
11. From holy heights the LORD looked down,
To view the earth from heaven high,
That He might hear the prisners groan,
And free them who are doomed to die;

1. O bless the LORD, my soul
His blessedness proclaim;
Let all that is within me join
To bless His holy name.
2. O bless the LORD my soul,
His mercies bear in mind;
Forget not all the ways in which
He has to you been kind.

All your iniquities;
He from each sickness makes you well
And heals you from disease.

The Trees of the LORD
9. The trees of the LORD are provided with
water,
The cedars of Lebanon planted by Him.
The birds build their nests there, the storks
choose the fir trees.
Wild goats climb high mountains where rock
badgers hide.
The moon He created to mark off the seasons;
The sun knows the time for its setting each
night.
10. When You bring the darkness, and night
follows daytime,
The beasts of the forest all come out to prowl.
The young lions roar as for prey they go
searching,
Depending on God to provide them with food.
But when the sun rises they go into hiding,
While man goes to work until evening again.
11. Your works, LORD, are many, created in
wisdom;
The whole earth is filled with the things You
have made.
Consider the ocean, so vast, filled with
creatures:
The large and the tiny too many to count.
The ships sail upon it, Leviathan lives there;
You made it to play in the depths of the sea.
Psalm 107I
All Those Who Go Down to the Sea
9. All those who go down to the sea in their
ships,
Who sail the great waters for trade,
They too have beheld what the LORD has done
there,
His wonderful acts in the deep.
10. He spoke and commanded a great storm of
wind
That lifted the waves of the sea.
They rose to the heavns, then dropped down to
the depths.
The souls of men melted with fear.
11. They reeled and they staggered like men
who were drunk.
Their wisdom had all fled away.
Then they in their trouble cried out to the
LORD;
He rescued them from their distress.
12. The storm wind He settled and caused to be
still;
The waves of the sea became calm.
The men became glad when the waves had died
down,
And to a safe haven He led.
13. O let them give thanks for the LORDs
gracious love,
The wonders He does for mankind.
When people are gathered, O let them give
praise,
And hail Him where elders convene.

Praise the LORD

All you nations, extol Him;
Extol Him, all you peoples;
For great is His love toward us,
And the faithfulness of the LORD

Your Words a Lamp
49. Your words a lamp to guide my feet,
A light to shine upon my way.
I now confirm this vow I swore:
Your righteous judgments Ill obey.

O LORD, according to Your word.

Blessed Are All Who Fear the LORDs Name
1. Blessed are all who fear the LORDs name,
And who walk within His ways.
When you eat of your hands labor,
Youll be blessed throughout your days.
In your house your wife will prosper
Like a vine whose fruits abound;
And like olive plants, your children
At your table gather round.
2. So the man who fears the LORD shall
In this way great blessing know.
May the LORD from out of Zion
Blessings rich on you bestow.
May you see Jeruslem prosper
All your days, until they cease.
