Psalm 1A 3.

But in Your lovingkindness

That Man is Blessed I have placed my confidence and trust;
My heart sings and my soul in salvation joys.
1. That man is blessed who does not walk I will freely sing to the LORD,
As wicked men advise, Who has shown such goodness to me;
Nor stand where sinners meet, nor sit He has dealt so in bounty with my soul!
Where scorners pose as wise.
Instead he is the one who makes Psalm 23A
The LORDs law his delight, The LORDs My Shepherd
And in that law he meditates
By day and in the night. 1. The LORDs my Shepherd, leading me;
I will not be in need.
2. Hes like a deeply planted tree Hell make me lie in pastures green;
Beside a water stream, By quiet waters lead.
Which in its season bears its fruit,
Whose leaves stay fresh and green. 2. And He restores my soul again;
In all he does he will succeed. He guides the steps I take
The wicked are not so, To walk along a righteous path,
But they are like the scattered chaff All for His own names sake.
Swept by the winds that blow.
3. Though in a valley dark as death,
3. The wicked therefore will not stand No evil will I fear;
When time of judgment comes, Your rod and staff, they comfort me,
Nor will the sinners stand among For You are always near.
Assembled righteous ones.
Because the LORD the righteous loves; 4. A feast You have prepared for me
The path they walk He knows. In sight of all my foes;
The wicked walk a different path, And You anoint my head with oil,
That to destruction goes. My full cup overflows.

Psalm 13B 5. What love and goodness all my life

O How Long, LORD Will follow after me;
And in the LORDs house evermore
1. O how long, LORD, forget me? My dwelling place will be.
Will it be forever, evermore?
O how long will You hide Your own face from Psalm 28A
me? LORD, I Call on You
How long must I strive with my soul,
Sorrow all day long in my heart? 1. LORD, I call on You to help me;
O how long will foes triumph over me? O my Rock, do not be deaf;
If Youre silent, unresponding,
2. O LORD, look down upon me; Ill sink in the pit of death.
Heed and give me answer, O my God. When I voice my supplication,
O give light to my eyes, or Ill sleep in death, And I cry for help, O hear,
And my enemies will say, See! When I toward Your holy temple
I have overcome, laid him low! Lift my hands to You in prayer.
And my foes will be happy when I fall.
2. Drag me not away with sinners,
Those who work iniquity; Gladly rejoice in You,
Peacefully they speak to neighbors, Who Your salvation love
As theyre plotting treachery. Say, Glory to the Lord!
Recompense, repay them justly May the Lord think of me;
For the evil of their hands. I suffer pain and want.
They the LORDs works disregarded! My Help, my Savior, come!
He destroys them; theyll not stand. My God, do not delay!

3. Blessed be the LORD who heard me, Psalm 59B

For the LORDs my strength and shield. I Wait for You
I am helped when my heart trusts Him;
Gladly singing, thanks I yield. 6. I wait for You, because You are my strength,
For the LORDs their strength, their power, A mighty fort, a stronghold is my God.
For His king a shield is He. My loving God, my God, will meet with me,
Save Your heritage and bless them; And let me look in triumph on my foes.
Shepherd them eternally. Spare them, O Lord, our Shield, lest we forget;
But in Your might disperse and bring them
Psalm 40B down.
I Hid Not in My Heart
7. Let sinful deeds and lies catch up with them,
5. I hid not in my heart Because of lies and curses that they speak.
Your truth and saving help; In wrath consume that they may be no more;
In the assembly great Let all earth know that God in Jacob rules.
I preached Your faithfulness. At night like dogs my enemies return;
Youll not withhold from me They prowl for food and growl unsatisfied.
Your tender mercies, Lord;
And Your unfailing love 8. But as for me, Ill sing about Your strength,
Will ever keep me safe. Each day with joy, sing of Your steadfast love;
For You have been my fortress, my defense,
6. Evils too great to count My refuge when the times of trouble come.

1. Let God arise, His enemies be scattered; Numbered in His priesthood,
And from His presence let His foes take flight. So too, Samuel invoked Him.
Drive them like smoke, They called on the LORDs name;
Like melted wax; He gave them His answer,
So let the wicked perish from His sight. Speaking from the cloudy pillar.
They obeyed, giving heed
