OPENING EZ LINK

1. Click The EZ Link icon on the desktop.

2. Sign in your EZ Link account.


EZ LINK OVERVIEW

Name Description

1. Toolbar/Menu bar Provides shortcuts to commonly used actions.

2. Search/Shortcut Box A handy tool to quickly search for User accounts.

3. Workspace Displays overview of clients in three different views.

4. User Information Displays information of selected user account.

5. View Selection Allows you to easily switch from different views

6. Logs Displays user logs

7. Status Bar Displays current status


STARTING SHIFT

1. Click On/Off Duty Button.

2. Select the right shift accordingly to your time.

3. Click On Duty to confirm.


CREATING NEW USER ACCOUNT

1. Click New User Button.

2. Fill up the form with correct information.

Online* Used as login name or user name to allow access to the


computer
User Name* To be filled with Customers Full name
Gender From drop down menu, select customers gender.
ID Number* To be filled with customers id or cell phone number.
Mobile To be filled with customers cell phone number.
Email To be filled with customers email address number.
Fields marked with asterisk (*) are required for account recovery

3. Enter amount to be loaded on newly created account.

4. Click to complete the process.


LOADING ACCOUNT

i. First Method - Search / Shortcut Box


1. Type customers login/online name in the box and hit enter.

2. In the top-up window, enter the amount to be loaded on the account.

3. Click to finish.
ii. Second Method: Top Up Button

1. Click button in the toolbar or press F3 to open top up window.

2. Input Online/Login Name and click search button.

3. Enter amount to be loaded and click to finish.


CHANGING PASSWORD

1. Click or press F7 to open Change Password window.

2. Enter customers online account and click search.

*Note: Before changing the password verify their username and ID Number.
You are not allowed to change password if the account is not registered on your shop.

3. Input new password


REFUND

1. Click or press F4 to open Refund Window.

2. Enter Online Account and click Query(Q)

Edit Reload Amount

a) Select Edit Reload Amount to change load value.

b) Enter the right amount and click Edit to change


value.
Cancel Reload

a) Select Cancel Reload to cancel top up.

b) Click Confirm to refund top up or cancel to go back.

PROMOS & PACKAGE

1. Click or press F10 to open Package Window.

2. Enter Online Account and


click Search.

3. Select type of package from


the list.

4. Click to
apply package.

*Note Applied package must be consumed continuously.


PRODUCT SALES MANAGEMENT

Open Product Sales Management window by clicking on the toolbar or


pressing F12 on your keyboard.

i. Sales
It is used to update stocks of your branch when a purchase is done.

1) Keep Purchase Type at Online Shopping.

2) Click Choose Product, to select product from the list.


3) Enter how many have been purchased and click Add(A) to another product on the list or
Add and Close (D) to finish transaction.

4) Products will be displayed on the list, after verifying click Checkout(s) to update
inventory.
ii. Product Return
In case of any product return or corrections to the inventory, use Product Return to update
the inventory.

1. Click Choose Sales Order No.. to open purchase history.


2. Only check the Sales Order you want to delete and uncheck other sales.
3. Click Confirm to continue.

4. Selected sales order will be displayed on the list.


5. After making sure of the returned product, click Product Return (S) to finish.

iii. Free
Update your inventory even giving away products or merchandise free of charge.

1. Enter customers account and click Search(Q).


2. To select product to be given, click Select Product(Q).

3. Select product from the list and enter quantity. To add multiple products, select a product enter
quantity and click Add(A) and select another product. To continue click Add and Close(D).
4. A list of selected products will be displayed. You can Delete a product or Cancel Transaction.

5. Click Free(S) to finish.

iv. Point Redemption


Update your inventory when a customer redeems product with points earned.

1. Search for customers Online Account.


2. Click Choose Product to view list of products.

3. Select product from the list, enter quantity and click Add and Close(D) to continue. To
add multiple products, select product, enter quantity and click Add, select other product
to add.
4. Needed points will be displayed on the upper right of the product list.

5. From the list you can Delete a product from the list or Cancel transaction. Click
Redemption to finish.

v. Stock In
Use to update inventory when new stocks have arrived.

1. Click Select Product(O) to open product list.


2. Select a product from the list and click Confirm to continue.

3. Do not edit Purchase Unit. Default price will be displayed.


4. Enter the quantity of stocks to be added on the inventory.

5. To update other products repeat steps 1 to 4.


6. To finish updating inventory, click Stock In(S).

Common Issues and Solutions

1. Password has been changed


One of the most common issues of EZ Link is changing of password by other branch.
Always keep in mind that you are not allowed to change the password of an account that is not
registered in your branch. The reason for this is that the account is hacked or they are having
almost identical account name. And before changing password, check their information such
as full name and cell phone number.

2. Emergency Mode
If you are experiencing poor internet connection EZ Link will automatically switch into
Emergency Mode. In this mode most of the transactions such as loading will be disabled
temporarily. Until the internet connection is back to normal then it will switch to normal mode.

Steps to Check Out All:

1. Click Cashier (C) in the menu bar of EZ Link.

2. Click Check Out All (A).

3. Power Interruption
In case of power interruption, since our EZ Link Servers are plugged into an UPS unit,
you still have few minutes to Check Out All the clients. Failed to do so, logged in accounts
will continue to consume their load.

4. Automatically logs out


When an account automatically logs out, it is most likely that it is logged in into other
computer. This can cause packages to discontinue. It can be resolved by changing the
password only after verifying their information.

6. Slow EZ Link response
Slow EZ Link response to various task is can be caused by slow computer or slow internet
connection. Common reasons of drastic slowdown of computer are virus infections and
unwanted/unnecessary installed applications.
