About the artist:
Since 1980, Robert Maniscalco’s exquisite commissioned
portraits and fine art have become part of over 850
distinguished private and public collections throughout North
America. “Preparing for Market” (featured on cover) is part of
a series of paintings called, “Faces of the Lowcountry.” Born
in Detroit in 1959, he is the son of internationally renowned

during the early 1980’s. He moved to New York City in 1986

Naturalist
CCPRC and Clemson University are offering the Certified
Master Naturalist program for people interested in
understanding and protecting the state’s valuable natural
resources. Master Naturalist (MN) candidates complete a
13-day field study course led by a variety of experts in some
of the state’s most beautiful natural areas as they learn and
practice the skills naturalists use to “read” the natural world.
The MN program develops volunteer citizen scientists,
conservationists, and educators who can positively impact the
natural resources of the state.

Our course is located in a wooded area of James Island County
Park. It is a very effective tool for addressing group issues such
as trust, effective communication, teamwork, and problem

The Climbing Wall


Located within James Island County Park, this 50ft. high
structure features 4,500 square feet of climbing wall space, and
accommodates 12-14 climbers at one time. With over 300 holds
