• INTERPAAL Why is this not top of the agenda in this election??? Australians have a right
to know, how easy it is to be denied access to their family, and be stripped of their children,
property and savings. The people of Australia have the right to know that more than 6
million of their fellow Australians are denied access to their families, as a result of appalling
Family Law Legislation and the activities of a number of Government agencies. This
represents 27 % of the nations’ men, women and children! To put this in context, it is the
equivalent to the combined populations of QLD and SA. This number is growing at the
annual rate of the population of a city the size of Townsville. Successive Governments since
1975 have continued to support this appalling situation. They are very well aware of the
numbers and the horrendous ramifications, yet will not accept responsibly, and refuse to take
the necessary steps to bring a halt to these practices. This is a human rights issue, and we
consider it our duty to raise the alarm and inform the public of the urgent need to learn the
truth...
