APPLICATION PROCESS
Choose your programme(major)
1 Choose a degree programme(major) you wish to take.
Check your entry requirements
2 You need to satisfy your chosen degrees entry requirements in all sections.
Secure a faculty adviser (Only for those applying for Research Scholarship)
Those who would like to apply for a Research Scholarship need to get an approval of a professor(faculty adviser)
from the applying major. (Faculty adviser decides the scholarship)

* Language Scholarship is applied automatically according to applicants language score. (No need to secure a
faculty adviser / Refer to page 7)
Pay your application fee
4 Pay your application fee of USD 50 (Overseas remittance) or KRW 50,000 (Domestic remittance). * Credit card or
Paypal not available.

We will assess your application
6 We will mainly assess your academic achievement and personal statement. Those with good English proficiency
will be given additional points. An interview (skype/phone or in-person) may be required additionally.
We will announce the admission result and send you an offer letter
7 We will notify you of the outcome of your application via email. If your application is successful, you will receive a
complete admission offer if everything is fine or a conditional admission offer if more steps are required.
Accept your offer
If you receive a complete admission offer, you can accept it by paying the tuition and fees and submitting the
8 following documents by post. (No electronic copies accepted)
o a) Signed Acceptance Letter (Enclosed in the Admission Offer)
o b) Bachelor Course Graduation Certificate with Governmental Verification(*1)
o c) Master Course Graduation Certificate with Governmental Verification(*1) (only for PhD course applicants)
o d) Bachelor Course Academic Transcript with Notarisation
o e) Master Course Academic Transcript with Notarisation (only for PhD course applicants)
o f) Tuition and Fees Payment Advice (receipt)
o g) Financial Status Certificate (bank statement or sponsorship certificate for USD 18,000)
o h) Family Relationship Certificate or Birth Certificate with Notarisation
o i) Household Register and National ID Copy (only for Chinese applicants)
o * Any documents not in Korean or English should be submitted with translation.
We will process your visa application
Once your offer acceptance process is finished as above, we will issue a Certificate of Admission (CoA) and other
required documents for a visa application and send them to you via express courier service such as DHL or EMS.
You are advised to visit Korean Embassy or Consulate General to apply for a student (D-2) visa. (Check the required
documents for a visa application at Korean Embassy or Consulate General in advance as they may vary depending
9 on the country and region) Visa issuance belongs in the jurisdiction of Korean Embassy or Consulate General, thus
an admission offer does not guarantee a visa issuance. If your visa is rejected, the admission will be canceled
accordingly.
* If you currently hold a valid Korean visa, you would need to change your visa to a student (D-2) visa at Ulsan
Immigration Office. Also, an admission offer does not guarantee the visa status change, thus the admission will be
canceled if your visa status change request is rejected by Ulsan Immigration Office.
