Pearce parents,

It was brought to my attention late yesterday that Pearce High School and Richardson High School have
been pulled into a series of inappropriate and unacceptable social media posts. Images have begun
circulating on third-party accounts that depict offensive and tasteless situations at the expense of
students and staff from both schools.

This trending situation has, understandably, provoked many involved with the PHS and RHS
communities. District officials are working with law enforcement and have begun identifying those
responsible. All will be disciplined accordingly. The actions of these individuals is appalling. It does not
reflectin any waythe character of Pearce High School or the students and teachers who work hard
to maintain the values established throughout our 50-year history. This behavior is hateful, repulsive
and will not be tolerated.

I ask that you remember the safety and well-being of our students, both mentally and physically, will
always be a top priority throughout Richardson ISD and at Pearce HS. We will remain strong, we will
remain together and we will remain unified as a Mustang Family.
