What is a Startup?
Startup:
A young company dedicated to
solving a specific problem.
What is
Solution-Oriented Mindset?
Solution Oriented Mindset:

A type of worldview, an attitude, and a way


of thought that focuses on seeing the world
as a set of problems that you have the
opportunity to solve.
Asset
An asset is an economic resource that a) can be owned, and
b) is expected to provide future economic benefits
(comfort/well-being)

Examples:
Tangible- property/real estate (ie. house)
Not Tangible- Patent
Capital
Wealth in the form of money or other assets
Product
A tangible good or object that a customer can see, touch,
feel, try on, taste or otherwise use.
Service
A service is intangible -- something a customer experiences
but doesn't hold or retain.

*Most companies fall somewhere in between, marketing products,


services or packages with both.
Customer
a person or organization that buys goods (products) or
services from a store or business
Enterprise
A business or company
Entrepreneurship
The activity of setting up a business or businesses, taking
on financial risks in the hope of profit.

What is an Entrepreneur?
Entrepreneur
A person who organizes and manages any
enterprise, especially a business, usually with
considerable initiative and risk.

Entrepreneur + Capital = Products + Customers = Business.
