ABSTRACT

abruptio placentae is defined as the partial or complete separation of a normally implanted


placentae from the uterine wall, before delivery, after the 20th weeks of pregnancy. The incidence
of perinatals death which caused by abruptio placentae is reported until 119 fetus in 1000 birth
and neurologic deficit occurred in 15% survive fetus. Therefore, its necessary to bring study about
abruptio placentaes cases in Public Hospital of Jayapura, Papua. Descriptive and retrospective
observational study. 8th November 2016 26th November 2016, its located in Medical Record
Department of Public Hospital of Dok II Jayapura. The subjects are pregnant woman with
antepartum hemorrhage history and have been diagnosed as abruptio placentae and theyre was
got therapy in Obstetric and Gynecologic Department of Dok II Jayapura Hospital. For the
medical records database in 3 years, from the 1st January 2013 31st December 2015, the cases
of abruption placentae in Public Hospital of Jayapura are 18 cases.11 cases are the suitable
resource to get all information of the patients in this study. From 11 cases were found, the
distribution of characteristic by age are dominated with 25-29 years old were found in 4 patients.
Women with multi-parity 2-4 is the most patient who has abruptio placentae, it occurs in 7 patients
of all patients, and hypertension is the most trouble in women with abruptio placentae. Abruptio
placentaes patient in Public Hospital of Jayapura got full and suitable therapies so the incidence
of fetus death is decrease.
