abstract

Bertha lantik 2014, this research is a classroom action research entitled "Improving Student
Achievement of IPA About Simple Practice Using Experimental Method In Grade V Junior High
School of One Year Ksukwe Academic Year 2013-2014.

This research is motivated by the achievement of learning class V in SD-SMP Negeri Satu Atap
Kasukwe in science subjects in simple plane material. The method used by the author is an
experimental method to overcome the problems and constraints faced by the students.

This research aims to improve the learning process in the classroom, so it is expected to improve
students' learning achievement about simple plane materials.

To describe the success in research, it is necessary to input and data collection to support the results
of research conducted by the author, both interviews, observations and pratest. The research design
was conducted by using 2 (two) cycles using Kemmis and MC Tagger R research model, where
each cycle consists of 3 stages: 1. Plan (planning), 2. Act & Observe (implementation and action
and observation), 3. Reflect.

From the day of the study showed that the students' enthusiasm attitude towards learning. It can
be seen from the data of students' learning mastery score of 53.1% and cycle II of 100%.
