Tips for Helping Your Child at Home
Give him/her your undivided
attention.
Allow him/her to work by self
for 5 minutes, then assist as
needed (i.e. math manipulatives
or alphabet reference sheet).
If child asks for help or
appears to be struggling,
correct him/her only if it is on a
skill he/she has not yet learned.
If child is struggling with a skill
he/she has already learned,
have him/her try again and
review the skill.
