FROM THE EDITORS DESK

Another challenging year has passed and our dream to be a great pharmacist is getting
ever closer. Will the 2011/2012 session be forgotten just like that? Thats the purpose for us to
produce the 4th edition of Pharmaline which is aimed to be a valuable asset for each and every
one of us. It is OUR magazine which represents the students of the faculty of pharmacy of UKM
that captures all our memorable moments during our university life. The spirit and experiences of
the students have been immortalized and splashed all over the pages of this magazine.

In this edition, we wanted to make it different and distinct from the previous. The highlights of
this publication that make it unique would be having a number of successful alumni to share their
thoughts and experiences with us.(must read!) Besides, we made a more colourful magazine with
more photos of the students as well as our lecturers (as portrayed by our awesome cover page).
Also, check out the newly introduced creative corner!

I would like to take this opportunity to dedicate a big THANK YOU to the Pharmaline
Editorial Board for all their hard work, commitment and cooperation in the making of
Pharmaline 2011/2012. The whole editorial board would like to express our deepest gratitude to
our advisors for their continuous guidance and endless support in publishing this magazine. Our
heartfelt gratitude is also extended to the lecturers, alumni, students of our faculty, PMFFAR, as
well as sponsors, who have helped in making this magazine a reality.

Note, as a huge step forward, we have introduced e-Pharmaline which is now available online for
your instant update on events and news. This success is credited to the efforts of our faculty, Dr
Fern, Encik Amirul and the e-pharmaline unit.

As the editor of Pharmaline 2011/2012, my only hope is that one day; it will serve as your
treasure trove of memories. Enjoy reading this magazine and feel the excitement out of every
page.

[Be it bitter or sweet, there is always something we can reminisce in the years to come. Our past
achievements will shape our future reputations. Do your BEST for our university, our profession
and the community.]
