A. Cognitive Objectives : at the end of the lesson,the students will be able to :

1.describe themselves the way they used to be as babies;


2.compare themselves with their deskmate, using comparatives and superlatives of the newly taught
adjectives and the verb to be in the past;
3.compare babies using the prompts ,the images from the textbook and their own photos ;
4.find as many differences as they can,comparing themselves with their deskmate during their childhood;
5.read the dialogues in pairs for specific information;
6.make up sentences of their own using the comparative degree and the verb to be in the past;
7.provide the correct form of the verb to be in the past in different communicative situations

B. Affective Objectives :

they will be eager to draw parallels and to describe themselves,comparing with their deskmate.
Anticipated problems : Taking into consideration that 4-5 students have a poor level of knowledge and
their motivation is rather low , the teacher expects that a part of her young students
might not participate in the teaching/learning process as expected.
