The DCI Twelve Levels

The Levels

The Diamond Cutter Institute Training proceeds through 12 different levels,

which are normally presented in what we call 2+3 format: 2 evening lecture
presentations to describe the important ideas covered in the course level,
followed by a weekend business retreat over 3 days where participants learn
to put the ideas into actual practice in career and life.

Its important from the beginning to have a vision of what a person is like by
the time they complete the entire training of 12 levels. They possess a
profound understanding of where the events and people of their life are really
coming from, which means that they are able to design consciously
what happens in their career and their life.

This means that they achieve success in every aspect of life: they are actually
able to create for themselves financial prosperity, excellent health, and deep
personal relationships. They are happy and a joy to be around; they make a
profound contribution to their family, their company, and their world. All
aspects of life are successful and they know how to keep it that way.

The Flow

The 12 levels of DCI training flow progressively to build on one another and
ultimately provide all the tools necessary to master the art of designing your
life.

-Level 1 gives us an overview of completely new ways of looking at the world

that will make our success certain.

-Level 2 delivers an understanding of how to find our passion in life.

-Level 3 provides powerful skills in ancient meditation techniques that help us
solve problems, sharpen the mind, and find calm in difficult situations.

-Level 4 teaches how to apply the Principles for great personal relationships,
as great leaders typically want to share their prosperity and strength.

-Level 5 teaches how to build on great personal relationships, using them as a

launching pad for an exponential increase in happiness and success in business
and personal life for ourselves and everyone we work and live with.

-After reaching our outer goals, we turn to the inner ones. In Level 6, we learn
how to maintain great inner calm, regardless of what is happening around us.

-Level 7 explains how Diamond Cutter Principles are used to achieve energy
a boundless ability to get things done as well as creativity, or the ability to
get them done in new and innovative ways.

-We continue to go inward on Level 8, learning the true causes of a deep and
continual sense of happiness and contentment with our life.
We can accomplish own outer and inner goals, but as truly successful people
can tell you, it doesnt feel right if we cant share our success with others. And
so we turn our attention to making some real contribution to the world at
large: we want our life not only to be successful and joyful, but also meaningful
in the larger scheme of things. That is, we want to be able to look back on our
life at the end, and know that it had some deeper purpose.

-Level 9 gives us a strategy for making a personal difference in the world

around us.

-In Level 10, we explore ideas for the transformation of society on a

community, national, and global level.

-Level 11 connects the transformation of our world to our own inner

development.

-Level 12 provides a review of the entire training.

The Seven Components of the Training

Each level contains seven components, which combine to make us a successful

person in every part of our life. The first component is the collection of
Diamond Cutter Principles, which are a completely new way of understanding
how the world works. DCI principles are based upon the ancient Tibetan
tradition of the Diamond Cutter Sutra, the oldest printed book in the world.
The Diamond Cutter

These principles were used to create Andin International Diamond Corporation,

one of the fastest-growing firms in the history of New York City. The company
was founded by three people using a $50,000 loan and quickly reached
US$250 million in annual sales, with over 10,000 employees in management
and production facilities worldwide. Andin was sold in 2009 to super-investor
Warren Buffett, currently the third wealthiest individual in the world. At
present, there are estimated to be more than a million people in 20 countries
using the Diamond Cutter approach, with billions of dollars of success
storiesas described in the business bestseller The Diamond Cutter.

The second of the seven components in each course level is a separate Business
Focus. We teach you to use these course levels to start a new lifepossibly even
a new business or career. And so through the twelve levels of the success
training well take you one by one through the steps of applying the Diamond
Cutter Principles to this endeavor: identifying what your occupation or
product will be, how you will produce and market it and so on.

The Diamond Cutter approach is a completely new way of thinking. We cannot

fully learn and apply the Diamond Cutter Principles if we do not already
possess a high degree of both mental clarity and physical energy, and so the
third component is strengthening the mind ones ability to concentrate and
to think quickly and clearly.
Every one of the levels includes training in applied meditation: techniques of
concentration which we apply to our work and life. These are not ways of
turning off the mind but rather, powerful methods of mental
problem-solving. Level 3 is entirely dedicated to this kind of mental
strengthening, drawing from a wide variety of ancient Tibetan techniques.

Given their intimate connection, the mind cannot be sharp and clear if the
body is sluggish and stiff. The fourth component of each level is physical
conditioning, utilizing easy but powerful exercises that were developed by
Indian yoga master Lady Niguma who lived about a thousand years ago. These
exercises have been followed and used by Tibetan monks for centuries. This
physical conditioning has been adapted for busy working people, requiring
minimal time and effort in order to maintain youthful vigor and appearance.
We call it Executive Yoga.

The fifth component is developing a karmic business partner. In essence this

is a form of personal or public service carried out by someone who is well
educated in Diamond Cutter Principles. The power created by this service is
then directed towards success for all the parties involved, and forms the
cornerstone of the Diamond Cutter approach. This karmic partner can be a
customer, supplier, employee, investoror even a member of the family.

The sixth component of DCI Training is daily tracking of our progress towards
success. This involves an ancient Tibetan technique of pausing for a few minutes
at selected periods during the day to examine our adherence to the Diamond
Cutter Principles.

Each course of the training includes, finally, a seventh component of follow-up

study and reading, as well as interaction with a Diamond Cutter staff coach
where desired, until the next course in the training is begun.
