PHILOSOPHY PERFROMANCE TASK
Midterm GRADING PERIOD

OBJECTIVES OF THE CULMINATING PERFORMANCE TASK

The learner shall be able to:
Critically reflect on their chosen career and how it can contribute in building a just
and humane society.

Use philosophical concepts learned throughout the entire semester to deepen their
reflection

independently use their philosophical learnings in order to build a just and

humane society so as to be agents of social transformation.

Instructions:

The learner is encouraged to envision themselves working in an institution 10

years from now with their chosen profession. Using their understanding in philosophy,
they are asked how can their profession and knowledge of philosophy contribute to build
a just and humane society. The learner is then tasked to make a detailed reflection paper
comprising the following:

1. Format: Arial 13, Short bond paper, Justified.

2. 1 up to 3 pages maximum.
3. Philosophical ideas and concepts learned from the semester.
4. Size is 8.5X11
5. Margins are: top 1, bottom 1, left 1, right 1
6. 1.5 Line spacing
7. Attach the rubric of the PT.

Submission
- The deadline for the major performance task will be on October 17 (for TH
classes) October 18 (for MW classes)
- When you are going to submit your paper, make sure that you attached the
rubric so that the teacher can put your scores on the criteria.
- LATE SUBMISSION WILL MEAN A DEDUCTION OF 2 POINTS TO THE
RAW SCORE FOR EVERY DAY THAT IT IS LATE.

Technicalities:
- You can borrow ideas from other authors or philosophers. However, you must
cite.
- 1-3 pages, your reference page does not count in page total
