GUID LINE FOR APPLYING ONLINE

1. Access UVAS official website www.uvas.edu.pk
2. Go to admission 2017 web portal and click ADMISSION OPEN - 2017.

3. REGISTER to create an account for applying online, enter the required credentials and
click submit. Your account will be created to apply online.
4. Use your CNIC and Password to login
5. Instruction for online admission will be open; now read all the instruction carefully
before to start applying online, press submit; main control panel will be open.
6. First link contains the eligibility criteria for UG admissions; whereas second link
contains FAQs for your assistance.
7. After reviewing instructions, click the Personal Info and fill all relevant informations
carefully.
8. Press Save and Next, to proceed next step; provide the educational information
9. Press save & Next, provide the Quota information (optional) only if student belongs
to any quota like Fata, UVAS Employees (Teacher), Sports, Child of Teacher, Children
of Pharmaceutical etc.; open merit is selected by default you may select relevant
quota.
10. Enter the academic information; MDCAT 2017 marks are mandatory to apply 5-year
degree program DVM, DND and Pharm D only. (MDCAT-2017 is not mandatory for
4-year degree programs). The applicant can apply in more than one-degree program. If
the applicant is interested to apply in only one degree/ program, he/she will have to
pay only Rs. 1000/- admission/processing fee.
In case, the applicant is interested to apply in more than one degree program, then
he/she need to pay additional Rs. 300/- for each degree program, Moreover, applicants
applying against sports quota will also have to pay additional Rs. 300/-.
11. Your selection in preference/priority in admission seeking degree programs is vital and
will be considered final.

Kindly go through different scenario that applicant(s) face after submitting their
application given in the CASE STUDY before final selection of your preference of the
programs.
 12. CASE STUDY
CASE A:
NEVER BE OVER CONFIDENT AND TRY TO DEFINE YOUR PREFERENCES MORE THAN
ONE DISCIPLINES

The applicant applied only in one-degree program and was confident that he/she will get
admission in the program in which he/she applied.
Explanation: In the merit list, the applicant name was not included due to high merit. Now
the applicant(s) realize that he /she could easily get admission in other degree program(s),
but he did not prefer other program(s) at the time of application submission. After that,
the applicant(s) usually start to request to admission office that he/she may be considered
for admission in other discipline(s). After this his/her request for admission in any other
discipline will not be considered in any case.

CASE B:
BE CAREFUL WHILE YOU ARE DEFINING YOUR PREFERENCE, WHEN ONCE YOU ARE
SELECTED FOR A HIGHER ORDER OF YOUR PRESENCE YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR ANY
CHOICE IN LOWER ORDER.

Scenario - I: The applicant applied in various programs as per preference mentioned

below:

Degree Program Preferences

B.S. (Hons.) Biotechnology 1
Pharm-D (Morning) 2
B.S. (Hons.) Dairy Technology 3
DVM (Morning) 4

Explanation: The applicant name appeared in the merit list on his/her preference (First
priority, i.e. B.S. (Hons.) Biotechnology), the applicant will be considered only for B.S.
(Hons.) Biotechnology and he/she will not be considered for any other disciplines in lower
order in any case.
Scenario II: The applicant applied in various programs as per
preference mentioned below:

Degree Program Preferences

B.S. (Hons.) Biotechnology 1
Pharm-D (Morning) 2
B.S. (Hons.) Dairy Technology 3
DVM (Morning) 4
B.S. (Hons.) Microbiology 5

Explanation: The applicant name appeared in the merit list on his/her preference i.e.
B.S. (Hons.) Dairy Technology and there is a chance that his/her name may appear in
upcoming merit lists on his/her higher preference program i.e. Pharm D (Morning) and
B.S. (Hons.) Biotechnology program.
The applicant(s) name will not be considered for any other disciplines in lower order i.e.
DVM (Morning) or B.S. (Hons.) Microbiology program in any case.

Note: This case study is only for guideline; visit website (www.uvas.edu.pk) to apply in
different disciplines for the admission session 2017.
13. Click on REVIEW YOUR APPLICATION to review it, Application Form will be open
14. In case you find any information incorrect, edit incorrect information before final
submission of your application by clicking on Edit in respective section.
15. If all provided information are correct, submit your application. Click on
Submit Online Application

Be careful, review your application critically be sure that you have applied in the
desired disciplines, once application submitted it will be not editable in any case.
16. Click View Application / Print Challan
17. Take a print ADMISSION FORM, CHALLAN and CHECK LIST one by one

IMPORTANT NOTE
Online application does not meant that your application is included in the current
session you are required. Send your printed Application Form, Paid Challan and other
required documents to the admission office, till 04-10-2017 during university timings.
Otherwise, your application will not be considered for admission in any case.
17. Submit you admission-processing fee in any branch of HBL Pakistan.
18. Attach following documents mentioned in the checklist along with your
application.

19. Candidates are required to submit Printed Copy / Hard Copy of the Admission Form
along with Original Paid Bank Challan as well as other supporting documents during
office hours on or before 04-10-2017 (Wednesday) to the following address.
