Morgantown, WV 26506

To Whom It May Concern:

Upon graduating from Nitro High School, I will attend West Virginia University and work towards an undergraduate
degree in Business Administration with a minor in Politics. It is a goal of mine to continue my education beyond that
and earn a Masters Degree in the field of Business Finance. After graduating college, I plan to obtain employment in
the business field with future plans of opening a natural-organic bath and body store.

I have scheduled numerous classes that have contributed to my academic success, including: Principles of Business
and Marketing, Marketing Principles, Marketing Applications, Digital Imaging I, Sports and Entertainment Marketing,
Digital II, Accounting II, Business Computer Applications I, and Desktop Publishing. DECA, Student Council, and all of
my business classes have taught me leadership skills, communication skills, social skills, responsibility, and public
speaking skills. In the 2016-2017 school year I obtained a completer in the area of Marketing. This year I will obtain a
completer in the area of Accounting, Administrative Support, and Information Management.

I am known by students and teachers for volunteering in my school and my community. I am an Eagle Scout, HOBY
Alumni, DECA Member, Student Council Member, and 4-H Member. I am a reliable, dependable, committed worker
when it comes to any task I am assigned. I attended and passed the National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT)
program during the summer of 2013, where I improved my leadership skills. I attended Hugh O'Brian Youth
Leadership (HOBY) seminar during the summer of 2016, where I was exposed to unique leadership training, service-
learning and motivation-building experiences. HOBY allowed me to learn how to better cooperate with a team. During
2016, I also attended the DECA International Career Development and Fall Leadership Conferences.

During the fall of 2016 I worked for Thanks! Plain and Simple, Inc. a Non-Profit Organization. The mission is to find
and Honor Living Rosie the Riveters. My job was Outreach Specialist and Executive Assistant. My duties included
research, contacting people via phone and in person, sending emails, and working with grants. During January of 2017
I went to the Netherlands with My employer, a daughter of a Rosie, and three Rosie the Riveters. The three Rosies
were being honored by the National Liberation Museum 1944-45.

Thank you for taking the time to meet with me to hear about the completer program I finished while a student at Nitro
High School. I look forward to meeting with you in person and sharing with you the valuable skills I learned while
taking these business classes during my high school years.

Sincerely,

Nicholas Withrow
