Learning intention: This lesson will be the final lesson in the mini unit on being inclusive.
This lesson will focus on the schools uniform and whether it is inclusive of all students at the
school. Students should think critically about what a uniform should include in order to cater
for all students at the school.

Success criteria/ Learning outcomes: By the end of this lesson, students should
understand what it means to have an inclusive uniform that caters to all students, regardless
of gender, size, race, religion. They should understand that a uniform needs to ensure that
students feel safe, secure and confident in what they are wearing and what the repercussions
could be if a uniform is not inclusive to all students.

Assessment: There will not be assessment for this unit as it is a wellbeing unit. This final
lesson will have the students identify what an inclusive school uniform is based on all the
information they have been given about being inclusive from the previous four lessons.

schools in the area and discuss the differences between each.
