mailed home, they may also be viewed in Aeries. Please contact your students
counselor if Aeries access is needed. Do not hesitate to reach out to teachers if you
have concerns or questions about your students progress. The Wilson website,
wihs.hlpschools.org, is a great resource for teacher contact information.

FROM THE ATHLETICS DEPARTMENT

September has been a sensational month for our Wildcats. Our Football team got
their first win in over a year behind the leadership of Head Coach Sal Ortiz. Coach
Jerelyn Lopez and our Tennis team have started their defense of back-to-back Valle
Vista League Championships. They are currently undefeated in league. The
Wildcats are led by our freshman phenom Arianna Audelo. Cross Country and Golf
have both started the year off well with convincing wins over our cross town
rivals. Wilsons Varsity Club visited our elementary and middle schools to encourage
all of our future Wildcats to attend our Wilson Quad Night for a night filled with
games, prizes, and halftime show. Our very own Willie the Wildcat got to shake
hands and give out hugs before the kids went off to school, while other members of
the Varsity Club raced and handed out gifts to the eager incoming Wildcats.
October is full with league play for our fall sports as they all strive to bring home a
League Title. Please look on our athletics website http://gowilsonwildcats.com/ to
find out when and where our next big game is. You can also download the VNN
Sports app which will put you just a click away from all important athletic news for
your favorite team.Cant wait to see you supporting at our athletic events. Go
