5. When you click the OK button at a

command in Part Edit in the second layer of
the menu hierarchy, you are asked whether
or not to reflect the newly edited settings on
the same part.

When Apply the edit result to the same

part is selected, you can select to apply the
results on the current sheet (Current
Sheet) or on all sheets (All Sheets).
You can also select to apply the results on
only parts of the same angle (Same Angle)
or on all angles (All Angle).

6. When you click the OK button or the

Cancel button at the move command

in the first layer of the menu hierarchy,

data and schedule are redone, and the
window returns to the nesting results
window.

If you select the Change Lead In for

Shorten Traverse checkbox, the approach
position is changed to the optimum position
based on the laser sequence.

One-point Advice:
When the approach has been edited, do not
select the Change Lead In for Shorten
Traverse checkbox.
Otherwise, the approach position will be
changed again according to the preferences.

The following pages describe the various commands.

joint will be created.
You can switch between a micro joint on
one side or on both sides by selecting and
deselecting Both Sides Corner Joint.

parameters in the figure on the left.

4. Lead Out Length/Angle/Radius

When a lead out is specified to a part, its
length, angle and radius can be changed.
(These parameters cannot be changed
when a lead out is not specified.)

One-point Advice:
The Over Cut and The Distance from the
End Point parameters are enabled when
the current laser trace is deleted and
re-assignment is performed by this
command.
Display Pierce Collision Area displays a
circle of radius that takes the pierce point as
its center.

processing setting. The M103
code is output.
Special Special Amada laser pierces are
Pierce output by the 103A_B_ code.
No Pierce Pierces are not output.
The M103A0 code is output.
Flying No pierce hole is made. Laser
Pierce cutting is performed at a short
length at low speed and high
laser output. This setting
reduces the time is takes to cut
pierces. It is used for thin
materials.
M103A0 is output since piercing
is not performed.

A/B/Condition/Length

Deleting and Re-assigning Laser Traces

(manual assignment)

1. To delete an already assigned laser trace,

click the trace to delete. After its color has

changed to light blue, click the button.

2. To re-assign (manually assign) a trace, set

the required conditions (e.g. process
direction, cutting conditions, approach, and
pierce).

3. When you select the end value, the action

after cutting of that trace can be specified.
(Currently, no action is taken for joints.)
(Currently, the end point setting of holes is
fixed to None.)

4. Select from the following four correction

directions.
Outer loops are corrected towards
the outside, and holes are corrected
towards the inside. Open paths are
not corrected.
Correction is performed to the left
side of the cutting advance
direction. (G41 code)
Correction is performed to the right
side of the cutting advance
direction. (G41 code)
Correction is not performed. (G40
code)

5. When you click the pattern to assign, the

laser trace is assigned.

One-point Advice:
Clicking the Convert Inner/Outer button
inverts the approach and correction
direction.
The correction direction cannot be changed
when a standard macro is used.

Direct Assignment

Cutting or etching by a straight line can be

added in areas where there are no patterns.

round hole), display the cross cursor key
and press the Enter key. Next, enter on the
keyboard how many millimeters in which
direction the round hole is to be moved, and
press the Enter key. The round hole is
moved.
Example:
To move 10 mm up, press 1, 0, , and
Enter keys
To move by the mouse only:
Click the move source standard point by the

Part Edit Fix Process Order

This command is used mainly on punching

lines.
This function is for fixing the process order of
tools to prevent punch scrap from remaining
when multiple tools are assigned to a single
hole.

Normally, this command is not used on laser

machines since there are no cases where
multiple paths are assigned to a single hole.

This command can be used in cases where

cutting for dividing up a hole has been inserted
directly by the approach editing command.

To explain operation by this command, let's

add a path for cutting a round hole to a cross
shape directly in approach editing.

1. Enter Approach, select Direct, set the

approach length at Length to "0" and press
the Enter key.

2. Enlarge the round hole, and enter a vertical

cutting line that contacts both edges of the
round hole. Click the start and end points,
then right-click and select Complete.

3. Likewise, enter a horizontal cutting line.

Click the start and end points, then
right-click and select Complete.

re-calculated from the starting position and
sheet division direction and displayed based
on these division lines.

Starting Position

Right bottom right.
Upper Left Processing is started from the top

Sheet Division Quantity

Calculation is performed after dividing the
sheet internally on the system when
determining the laser sequence. The laser
sequence can be determined more precisely
by setting a greater number of divisions. Note,
however, that the calculation time increases
when a greater number of divisions is set.
The default number of divisions is 5. (Up to
100 divisions can be entered. Normally, leave
the setting at the default of 5.)

Details
Displays laser sequence conditions relating to
the grid part part-spacing. (For details, refer to
the Laser Sequence section.)

The other way is "manual."

With this method, you can specify the process
order by mouse commands and list
commands.
