Prior Knowledge

Students have been exposed to baptism and other sacraments in previous lessons.

Previous lessons have focused on the gift of human life and what it means to feel alive.

Catering for Learner Diversity

Religious learner diversity:
Students that believe in no faiths or in a different faith are able to bring in a photo of them when they
were a baby or a time of when there was a special sacrament they were involved in as a baby. They will
then do the same activity as the other children and use book creator.
For the introduction these children will have a choice whether they would like to join in the discussion if
they dont they will be with the EA and they can start their activity. The children that believe in different
faiths are able to share what sacraments they have in their faith or are able to go and work quietly with
the EA and start their activity.
Evidence of Learning for Assessment and Reporting

Students work examples on book creator will be used as a form of assessment.

Anecdotal notes and observations of participation relating it to the Sacrament of Baptism.
