2. In view of the above reference, this office submitted the 2nd Quarter Municipal
Threat Assessment of the Municipality of Poona-Piagapo.

I. Introduction:
The Municipality of Poona-Piagapo has a land area of 260.07 km2x consist of
twenty six (26) barangays and the number of PNP personnel is 25 with 1 PCO,
22 PNCO and 2(Two) NUPs. Poona Piagapo is a fourth class municipality in the
province of Lanao del Norte, Philippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a
population of 27,018 people with 99 percent of Muslim. Mostly residents of this
municipality relied on agricultural products such as corn, rice, copra and fruits.
With regard to the peace and order situation, it is quite normal/generally peaceful
for this quarter; our database shows that zero crime incidents recorded as of this
date. Presented tabulation below presents the figures of the said crime incident
volume.

Assessment and Forecast

Base on the surrounding circumstances in every crime incident in our locality it
can be inferred that those crimes could be prevented by timely presence of PNP
personnel in the key areas of this municipality. Compared to previous assessment on
the same Qtr.s for different covered years, this quarter have less crime occurrence
than those of 3rd quarters of previous years. In consideration of the present manpower
of this station, number of Police Officers deployment to those areas is not possible.
Police mobility is in the mercy of the weather, Putting into consideration the present
state of municipal roads connecting those key areas are not passable and worst during
rainy season, where patrol vehicles mobility is limited to nearby barangays.
