Thank you for registering for the Indian Terrain Madras Superstar Sportive powered by Montra.
Before you start discovering your Terrain. We ask that you read this information thoroughly as it
contains details that will ensure that the event runs smoothly and you have a great ride!

The Categories for the Indian Terrain Madras Superstar Sportive powered by Montra are:

100km Sportive 100 kms Rs. 700/-

WHAT DO THE PARTICIPANTS GET?
All the participants will get:
1. Event T-shirt
2. Event Bag
3. Finishers Medal (Only 102km Riders)
4. Finishers Certificate (For 45km and 102km Riders)
5. Event Souvenir

WHAT DO THEWINNERSGET?
The Top 3 Men and Women in the 102km Sportive will get:
1. Trophy
2. Indian Terrain 'Champions Sportive' Cycling Jersey
3. Certificate
4. Automatic qualification to the National Championships held in Delhi on the 5th of November by the Cycling
Federation of India.

BIB COLLECTION AND EVENT DAY


Participants can collect their Bib at Ciclo Cafe, Kotturpuram on the 13th and 14th of October.

On the day of the event the participant must come to the Event desk to check in and collect their:
1. Route Map
2. Emergency Wrist Band

NO HELMET = NO RIDE

It is mandatory that all riders wear a Helmet during the ride. If a rider is found
riding without a Helmet, they will be disqualified from the Event.

EMERGENCIES
This Ride is fully supported. If you have any medical or mechanical issues please call the number printed on the
Emergency Wrist Band.

PITSTOPS
For the 100km Ride there will be three Pitstops, where the following will be provided:
1. Water
2. Refreshments
3. Mechanics
4. Medical Support

For the 54km Ride there will be one Pitstop, where the following will be provided:
1. Water
2. Refreshments
3. Mechanics
4. Medical Support

The locations of these Pitstops are marked on the Event Route Map. If you wish to stop riding at any of the Pitstops,
please inform the Organizers at the Pitstop.

PRE - RIDE
The day before the ride make sure to drink a minimum of 2 litres of water. This will help your body stay hydrated
and save you from cramping up during the ride.
Avoid eating junk/oily food the day before the ride.
Go to bed early the night before the ride. A minimum of 8 hours of sleep is recommended.
Have a check on the apparel you are going to wear during the ride and make sure it is ready the previous night.
Make sure have a comfortable and well fitted sports shoe for the ride.
Eat a light yet filling snack on the morning before the ride. Ex: 2 slices of bread, fruit juice, energy bar.
Travel light. Carry only essentials during the ride. Ex: Mobile phone, wallet, ID card

DURING THE RIDE


Check the tire pressure of your cycle and fill air if it isnt sufficient enough.
Wear a fitted and fastened helmet at all times.
Ride in a single file and not in twos or more.
Always keep an eye on the road for crossing pedestrians and/or animals
Stay on the left most side of the road at all times.
Use both brakes in a phased manner to come to slow down rather than making sudden halts.
Keep a check on your shoe lace and tie them up if they get loose. This will avoid the lace getting entangled in
the chains or the wheels.
Remember you are still a part of the traffic on the road. Obey the rules and ride responsibly.
