Hi, Im Alex. Thank you for downloading this travel Japanese guide. My aim was
to make an easy and useful travel Japanese guide to help you have a more
enjoyable and smoother trip to Japan. This is the cheat sheet that I wish Id
been given when I first came to Japan.

Ive lived and traveled around Japan for the last 20 years, so I know what a
fantastic country it is to visit and explore. I also know how overwhelming it is to
be in a different culture with limited language skills. However, there is some
good news. First, the Japanese are extremely patient and appreciative of
people who make the effort to try and speak even a little Japanese. A simple
sumimasen (excuse me) and arigato (thank you) go a long way in Japan.

Second and most importantly, you probably need a lot less Japanese than you
think to travel around Japan and really enjoy your trip. You dont need to have a
huge vocabulary, you just need the right vocabulary. That means knowing the
words and phrases that are the most commonly used in the widest number of
situations. This is what Ive put together here for you.

This guide provides a list some of the most useful and effective vocabulary and
phrases I have used on my own travels in Japan. I hope you enjoy it and find it
useful.

Id love to get your feedback on this guide, so please send

your comments, ideas and questions to me at
info@learnjapanesepod.com
Happy travels in Japan!

Alex Brooke
