International cooperation
My university allows me to gain professional experience in companies and
institutions abroad. After the first year of my studies I had a chance to take part
in a three-month internship in Malta. I worked as an assistant to the Mayor of the
City. The internship helped me to improve my English. Moreover, the chance to
interact with people from different countries and cultures was an invaluable
experience for me.

Double degree program International Relations Office

Students can participate in the
Erasmus+ student exchange program
in one of WSB partner schools across
Europe. While doing their study
periods abroad students are
exempted from tuition fee at WSB.
Students also have the opportunity for
doing a 3-month internship in different
companies located in Europe.

Practical information
Getting to and around Chorzw
By air
The nearest international airports are
situated in Pyrzowice (30 km from
Chorzw) and Cracow (70 km from
Chorzw). The Pyrzowice Airport has
a good bus connection with the centre
of Katowice, from where you can easily
reach Chorzw by tram. Tram lines no.
6, 41, 19 leave from Katowice Rynek,
while no. 7 sets off from Katowice
Railway Station.

By bus
Most international bus connections
arrive in Katowice. The location of
Katowice central bus station makes it
easy for the traveler to change to a local
bus or tram and continue the journey
to Chorzow. Alternatively, you can take
a taxi, which is not a very expensive
option, either.

By train
There are fast and express train
connections between Katowice and
other destinations in Poland and
Europe. The main railway station is
situated in the city centre, very close to
tram and bus stops.
Currency
The Polish unit of currency is the zloty
(PLN), made up of 100 groszy (gr). You

The cost of living in Poland is relatively
