 Conditions of the contract

1.) Before submitting the offer, the interested parties must visit the Institute for the information of
existing location of the room.
2.) As per government resolution no. -1098/..28/98// Finance Dept.,

Mantralaya, Mumbai, Dtd. 19th Aug.1998, The contractor has to take Insurance for the work
and labour during the time period of the work from Finance Department, Vima Sanchalak,
Govt. Insurance fund, Maharashtra State.
3.) The rates quoted shall include the cost of material, labour, T&P etc as required for the
completion of the work.
4.) The quoted rates shall be inclusive of all taxes, duties, VAT etc. as applicable and no extra
amount shall be payable to this account.
5.) TDS as per rule shall be deducted from the bills of the contractor. The agency must enclose
copy of PAN No. supported by copy of PAN Card of the Company.
6.) The quotation submitted by the successful bidder/ Agency will remain valid for the entire
period of contract from the date of opening of tenders.
7.) Payment will be paid after four equal installments. The first installment in three months.
8.) The contractor may discontinue at any time, if the services are found satisfactory.
9.) Every page of the contract document is to be signed by you as token of having read and
understand the conditions, clauses of the contract. If found not signed by tender will be
rejected.
10.) Initially the contract will be for one year only and the contract may be renewed or extended for
further periods on mutually agreed T & C subject to satisfactory services provided by the
agency.
11.) The Chemical/ Pesticide to be used shall be approved by the insecticides ACT 1968 & central
insecticidal board with registration no.
12.) The material to be used for bed bugs shall be sealed container & must be opened in front of
VJTI supervisory staff.
13.) All buildings, departments, laboratories, classrooms, staff cabins, etc. must be covered at the
time of pest control and integrated mosquito management services (fogging)
14.) It should be ensured that there will not be side effect on the internal materials in the room.
15.) Material safety data sheet to be submitted to the VJTI for quality control and necessary action
required when emergency.
16.) VJTI is not bound to provide any mode of transport in respect of men or material required for
the contract.
 17.) The contractor shall ensure that either he himself or his qualified representative is available for
proper administration and supervision at the work place.
18.) In case of any damage or loss to the Institutes property or material caused directly or indirectly
by the contractors personnel, the contractor shall be held fully responsible, and the Institute
shall be entitled by to deduct appropriate amount with penalty from contract fees payable to the
contractor. The amount of loss or damage as determined by the Director, VJTI shall be final
and binding on the contractor.
19.) The pesticides to be used by the contractor should not be harmful for the human beings and
Material Safety Data Sheet report of all chemicals should be submitted with the tender
document.
20.) The experience certificate/ work completion certificate/ dealership/ distributor ship certificate is
to be submitted with the tender.
21.) No payment shall be made in advance.
22.) No interest shall be paid on security deposit which shall remain with the institute during the
period of guarantee and it shall be released after defect liability period.
23.) The minimum annual turnover for past three years should not be less than 10 Lakh, which
should be substantiated by Audited Annual Accounts and/ or IT returns.
24.) The bills will be separately given for Institute Premises and other for Hostel Premises.
