LAWPHIL

The LAWPHiL Project is an online and electronic databanks of Philippine law and
jurisprudence. It was launched in 2001 by Atty. Jaime N. Soriano under the auspices
of the e-Law Center of the Arellano Law Foundation.
One of the foundation's major aims is to make Philippine law accessible not only to
the legal community but to all sectors of society. To this end the Foundation initiated
the LAWPHIL Project to digitize and make available through the Internet all Philippine
laws, statutes, jurisprudence, presidential decrees, executive orders, administrative
orders, lawyers' tools and other legal materials.
The website currently features the following sections, many with full-text
documents:

Constitutions contains the Malolos, 1935, 1973 and 1987 Constitutions


Statutes contains Acts, Commonwealth Acts, Republic Acts, Batas Pambansa
and Presidential Decrees
Executives Issuances contains Presidents Executive Orders, General Orders,
Memorandum Orders and Proclamations
Jurisprudence contains decisions and court resolutions from 1901 to 2006
Courts contains information on the Philippine court system, legal ethics
Administrative Agencies contains info on various government agencies
Congress contains an overview of legislative agencies
News and Legal Updates
Treaties also contains international agreements and info on international
courts
Legal Links includes sections on online law libraries and online publications
Lawyers Tools includes useful material such as commonly used legal forms

The people composing Chan Robles believe that its continued growth is the result of
its faithful commitment to meet the diversity and challenges of practicing law in the
present times by providing clients with a wide range of professional services and
increased specialization.

Chan Robles invests heavily on its traditional and electronic library facilities to ensure
the immediate availability of information to its lawyers and clients.

Further, the first-ever law books in CD-ROM format published in the Philippines were
those written by the Managing Partner of Chan Robles and published by ChanRobles
Publishing Company.
Now available on the World Wide Web are the legal resources contained in the Virtual
Law Library of Chan Robles consisting of full text of thousands of laws, statutes and
codes and compilations of legal resources in easily searchable html format. The links
to said web pages are found in the link list on this page and in all pages of this site.
The Chan Robles Virtual Law Library on the Internet is the most comprehensive
Philippine legal site cited by major universities and institutions worldwide as the legal
portal for the Philippines.

LAWYERLY

Lawyerly is a web-based legal research platform where you can access all Supreme
Court cases, relevant laws and implementing rules and regulations. It has a versatile
and advanced searching capability that lets you search for cases, laws, doctrines using
case citations, General Register numbers, keywords, or hashtags with accurate results.

Lawyerly users can create a casebook wherein they can organize cases or laws by
topics and sub-topics. Adding cases is easy with the "Add to Casebook" button.
Casebooks are interactive where you can track cases they have read. And they can also
quickly view the principles cited in these cases at the click of a button.

Creating your own digest is easy, even without typing a single word. Simply open a
case and start highlighting text as FACTS, ISSUES, RULING, PRINCIPLES. Your digest
will be automatically created when you click on the Digest button.
