Ensemble Stars, EnStars for short, is an idol card collection game.
ITS NOT A RHYTHM GAME
(EnStars TW and CN has a taiko mini-game tho)

Its an idol-raising game, more focused on story, character

interaction, and your strategy on how to utilize the cards.
(Basically, you take care of your boys and watch them grow)

Every 11th and 1st days, there will be a dream idol festival, but theres this
button called the miraculous SKIP button so you dont spend much time there
 There are two types of boys in the gameplay:
1. Boys from your team
2. The Lessons boy

Your main goal is to collect all the mini-events from the Lessons boy.
There are 2 types, 2* events and 3* events. Each have 3 events. (and
will provide you with daiyas)
The boys from your team will also trigger mini-events (that will either
give you a jewel fragment, lower your luck, or trigger an intimate
event)
Intimate events will allow you to gain intimacy points (and you get to touch your
boy)
 Each location in lessons will have attributes on the upper left corner.
Red for Dance (DA)
Yellow for Performance (PF)
Blue for Voice (VO)
Attributes are important if you are collecting jewel drops in
preparation for the Idol Road.
Cards also have special effects that increase drop rates of jewel sizes.
If you want to farm for jewels, make sure to play the Daily Lessons.
There is also this wonderful man we call the school nurse, Sagami Jin.
If your objective requires you to have your LUCK on maximum in 3 turns or by
the end of the lesson, a quick visit to the infirmary will help you.

There are three responses to his questions or statements, but all of them will
up your LUCK. If you are lucky enough to have tapped the lucky response, you
get to increase your LUCK by 2.
And then theres the well-loved, but dreaded Akiomi Kunugi, another teacher in
the school. You can catch him in any location without a boy.
He will either raise your FEVER or decrease your LUCK by 1. Which is nice and a
sure sucker because if you cant understand any of the dialogues, youll want to
avoid clicking on a blank spot.

Welcome to the main reason as to why everyone is screaming in this fandom:
THE STORIES.
There are 3 story types: MAIN, Special, and EVENT

The main story follows TRICKSTAR and their rise to the

school ranking system.
Special stories are mini-stories of individual boys.

EVENT Stories are focused on certain events that happen

during the year, or the previous year. It also includes the stories
from the Gacha cards.
 There are 15 stories that you can unlock in events, another 10/15 in gacha
stories. Each one will give you 1 Daiya each.
The circle next to the story chapter will show you which boy/s will appear in
that chapter.
You can also unlock stories using keys.

Course DreamFest Live

Course team is used on Lessons. And you get to customize 4 teams.

(I already explained this during the LESSONS Slides)

DreamFest team is used on Dream Idol Festivals. This team
is usually comprised of your strongest boys because you
will be going against players of higher levels and strong
boys.
The LIVE team is an important setup. This is the team you will be using during LIVEs in
events. There are 3 teams: Dance, Voice, and Performance. Clicking the AUTO SETUP
Button will allow you to setup your teams to the most point attributes your cards will
have collectively.
(The recommended total points is 250k-300k. This will allow you to finish all lives without
problem. But the higher the points, the better because you will need less LP to use. More on
this in future slides)

 Event Gachas are out 1-2 days before an Event.
For any daiya scout, first 10-scout will always have a guaranteed 4*
card on the pull.
If you see the blue notice, that is the 4* guarantee sign for the scout.

Daiya scouts are worth 15 daiyas each, 135 for 10-scout

3* Producer Point scouts are worth 10k PP, 100k PP for 10-scout
These are all 3* cards guarantee.
Sometimes, single 3*PP Scouts will give you 4* cards.
Regular Producer Point scouts are worth 100 PP, 1k PP for 10-scout
2* and 1* cards are a mix here
Go for 3*PP Scouts, they are more worth it.
Unless you are completing the Beginners task then dont bother.
Dream Idol Festival actual salt

participating in Regular DreamFest
Regular DreamFest
and playing against
other players. Each
rank up will give
you either Daiyas,
YumeCoins, or Ranking DreamFest
extra Card Slots.
 Having a higher league rank will also allow you to participate in the higher ranks
of the Ranking DreamFest.
Ranking DreamFests happens every 11th of the month, registration starts every
5th.
There are 4 ranks: A1, B1, S3, and S2.
A1 is for ranks 50 and below (I think)
B1 is for open for all
S3 is for League Rank 1-10
S2 is for League Rank 10-20

Ranked DreamFests will give you rewards such as Bentos, Candies, and Honey
Lemons for AP and LP restoration. It will also give you YumeCoins to exchange in
the Coin Shop.

(You can join any ranks you want if youre in the higher leagues, for example, Im in League 20,
but I usually join S3)

EVENT LIVES
This is how you get event points to get the rewards and eventually get your best boys card. There are 3
types of Lives: Normal, Rare, and Emergency.

If you see 1 (hour) 59 (minutes), thats a Normal Live. If you see the 0 (hours) 59 (minutes), thats a Rare Live.
They give the least amount of Event Points if you They give out more event points than Normal Lives. If
accomplish them. For beginners with not-so-strong Live you believe that you can take them, then go ahead.
teams yet, this is the recommended Live.

In the later half of events, there is another Card Live added. The Normal Live will be the equivalent of the
first Rare Live of the first two cards in the event. They give out more Event Points too.
 Click the Blue Button to engage, Red to cancel, and White to
postpone.
The time indicated is a timer that tells you how long the Live will be
available should you choose to not engage yet (by tapping the white
button).
Postponing a Live, however, will not let you see other Lives, until you
finish the postponed Live.
If you choose to postpone when youre out of LP, the timer will
indicate how much longer the Live will be available in time for your LP
to replenish. (30 minutes = 1 LP)
Finishing a Live will give you Event Points, and a chance of drops like
Producer Points or a 3* Card.
 And then theres the bane of every EnStars players existence.
The Emergency Live.
Emergency Lives have a 9-minute timer which will not allow you to simply postpone to wait for your LP to replenish.
NO. THIS WILL BE THE TIME YOU MIGHT BE FORCED TO USE ITEMS OR EVEN DAIYAS.
And whats the best thing about Emergency Lives?
They give out huge amounts of Event Points. AND MIGHT DROP THE 4* CARD REWARD. Or not.

It also increases your Event Points after.

How to do Encore Lives?
You just tap.

Tap to make the boys appear on the stage.

The more boys you have on the stage, the
more Event Points youll get.
The bar is the timer, make sure to tap before
it ends!

There are also FLOWER BOUQUETS.

In order to get the 1000 Event Points that
they provide, you must get the number of
boys that the RNG will tell you to get.

So if the counter requires you to get all 5

boys, and you only get 4, well. Sorry. You
dont get the additional 1000 Points.
Sucks, I know. But such is life.
Sometimes, I hate this game.
MOTHER WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME
Event stuff
EnStars events happen twice a month, every 1st and 15th, and lasts 10
days. If we have a 31st on the monthly calendar, the event will start on the 31st and will end on
the 10th of the next month, giving us 11 days of event.
Events start at 3PM JST.
Every 6th day of an event, they will give 1 Cylume, and 1 water bottle
each day for the last five days of the event.
Only two event courses are available at the beginning, on the 5th day
at 3PM JST, the last 2 event courses will be out.
You get a lot of rewards in events, such as Daiyas, 3* cards,
Water Bottles, Konpeitos, Yakisoba Bread, Producer Points,
Event Backgrounds, Jewels, and Event Stories.
((This is the best way to grind for daiyas tbh))
Useful tips for EVENTS
If your best boy is in the event and you decide that you want his card, you might
want to hack up event points.
Reward 4* are usually at 600,000 points, and 5* are at 1,100,000 points.
Remember the Water Bottles that they give out on the last 5 days? If your best
boy is not in the current event, you can keep them in the Gift Box and not claim
them until the next event. NOTE though that they expire after 29 days in the Box.
Join Ranked DreamFest to earn more Honey Lemon and Candies that you can use.
I usually dont read the event stories so I have back up daiyas for when Best Boys are in
events
If youre going to play casual on the current event, DO NOT CLAIM THE ITEMS IN
THE GIFT BOX YET. Claim only those that are going to expire in the next 10-15
days.
Useful tips for EVENTS
If your best boy is rank, R I P
Save up on a lot of daiyas. Because I swear to all the gods, Itll be hard to
maintain Ranking.
Set your alarm on 2-2.5 hours interval (4-5 LP restoration)
Play the SUNDAY Daily course, EXP is twice than normal.
Prepare your Live Teams. Best be at 250k-300k points so you can pass through
the Emergency Live with 6 LPs. Of course, 2-3 LPs is better, but thats when you
get better cards.
Dont sell your soul to the devil, no matter how tempting it is.
Dont claim the EVENT Rewards until after the event, unless you plan on ranking
or getting the second 4* and 5* card copies.
