Topic 1: Many offenders commit more crimes after serving the first
punishment.Why is this happening and what measures can be taken to deal
with problem ?

There are some measures that should be taken to deal with the above problem.
Firstly, vocational training courses should be created for criminals while they are
being put in jail. These courses not only teach them to use their free time wisely
but also equip them with basic knowlegde and skills. For example, prisoners can
get involved in making handmade products or some basic jobs such as weaving or
sewing. By doing this way, criminals will easily get a good job and make a living
easily after being released. Another remedy is that the local authority ought to have
careful observation for ex-prisoners.Watching them closely will help tmhe local
authority to detect their bad behaviors and isolate them from their inmates, making
sure that they will mend their ways and avoid commiting crimes a second time.
Also, the local goverment should hold t social events to make help offenders
mingle with their communities.

Topic 2: Parents expect their children to spend long time studying both in and
after school and have less free time.What are the positive and negative effects
on children and society ?

In the modern society, parents have desire to send their children to extra classes
beyond school time rather than give them more spare time. I strongly believe that
this trend will bring both advantages and drawbacks.
On the one hand, forcing children to study hard is beneficial because this way will
help them to get better performance at schools.When reading a great number of
books, students are likely to gain a lot of knowledge in different areas. Therefore,

clear that spending too much time studying will keep students away from the
outside world, which leads to their lack of communnication and socializing with
other people. If students have problem with soft skills and social behaviors, they
will be deprived from many job opportunies because the employers of big
companies often require many complicated skills other than specialized
knowledge. Secondly, when digging in tons of books, learners can easily face up
with many mental and physical diseases. In terms of mental problems, students
may feel fatigued and depressed because of their heavy work load. Furthermore,

In conclusion, many parents forvce their children to study as much as possible and
