Attention residents of
Lower Nazareth
Township:
Please be aware that the Board of Supervisors is trying to quietly hold a vote to leave the
Colonial Regional Police Department. They are trying to do this with no input, no public
forums, and no feedback from residents. This was tried just 3 years ago, but when over 200
residents showed up to show their support for the CRPD, the vote was to stay with CRPD.
Now we are here again and the same handful of people that tried then are trying now to leave
CRPD. A lot of baseless claims of rising costs and false information are being spread about the
future of the CRPD. Regional police departments are proven to be a wise investment and have
shown that the resources they can provide to their member municipalities and residents are
much greater than what a small town police department can ever accomplish.
Please get involved and voice your opinions! The supervisors are holding their next board
meeting next week and they need residents’ input. The Colonial Regional PD is an excellent
law enforcement agency with great officers who have a vested interest in the Lower Nazareth
Twp. community. Please don’t let the personal agenda of a few ruin what has been a
successful working relationship for the past 22 years for the residents and businesses of LNT.
Board of Supervisors meeting: Wednesday, October ai 2017
Time: eam £360 PM
