TO IMPROVE X GRADE MULTIMEDIA STUDENT LEARNING
ACTIVENESS ON KKPI SUBJECT IN SMK N 1 PENGASIH 2012/2013

ABSTRACT
This research is aimed to improve X grade multimedia students learning
activeness after the implementation of cooperative learning Team Accelerated
Instruction type on Standard Competency Installation of Network Software in
SMK N 1 Pengasih.
This research used Classroom Action Research which conducted in three
cycles. Each cycle consists of 4 plans of action, namely: planning, action,
observation, and reflection. The material chosen is Installation of Network
Software. The subjects were 31 students of X class of Multimedia SMK Negeri 1
Pengasih 2012/2013. In gathering the data, this research used direct observation
and documentation. The instruments used are observation sheet. Meanwhile
quantitative descriptive analysis was used to analyze the data.
The result showed that the type of learning Team Accelerated Instruction
could improve students learning activeness. This improvement could be seen
from the percentage of students learning activeness in KKPI learning process.
The improvement of students' learning activeness can be seen in the average
activity of the visual aspects of students in cycle II and I was 41.94% and in the
third cycle increased to 79.84%. The average activity of the metric aspects in the
first cycle was 38.71%, 41.94% in second cycle and the third cycle increased to
87.1%. The average verbal aspect of students activeness in the first cycle was
19.89% and 35.48% in the second cycle of the third cycle increased to 79.57%.
The average aspects of students written activeness in the first cycle was 16.67%
and the second cycle was 52.69% meanwhile on the third cycle the result reached
83.87%. The average students learning activeness who is active in the first cycle
showed 29.30%, the second cycle was 43.01%. Meanwhile the third cycle
increased to 82.59%. Therefore, the result showed 53.39% of improvement. It can
be concluded that the application of the learning type Team Accelerated
Instruction can increase the activity of student learning.
